Costa is the perfect villain. I mean, I root against him as often as possible, but I admit to tuning in to watch him play.

Separately, Vini Jr just got his Spanish passport which opens up a non-EU spot for Real Madrid. That could come in handy for the next transfer window.

Wolves are kinda the worst. They're tied for fewest goals forward with 3 (WHU also off to a slowwwwwwwww start) but have conceded the fewest with 4. Now, aesthetically it's actually OK. I respect the way they defend, are always organized, and are usually quite cohesive, but there's too much talent there to settle for this setup. They should be aiming to compete for the UCOL spot, not merely avoiding relegation. This also can't be too good for the value of their players, which is what the club is basically set up to do anyway.

I know Rayo Vallecano were reportedly interested this summer and apparently missed out on R.D.T. (who somehow is still at Espanyol). They already have Radamel “El Tigre” Falcao so they might have hit their quota over-the-hill strikers.

Rayo are an easy team to root for, depending on your political persuasion, and they generally have great kits. I wouldn’t be happy to have a reason to root against them.
