The Patriots' injury-plagued offensive line finally caught a break.

Right guard Tre' Jackson's MRI came back negative Friday, and he did not suffer any tears in his left knee, according to a source. Jackson is considered day to day depending how quickly the pain subsides.

Jackson went down Thursday during the fourth quarter against the Jets when Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon tumbled into his leg. The rookie fourth-round pick out of Florida State remained on the ground for a couple minutes as Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Matthew Slater hovered over him, but Jackson limped off the field and into the locker room under his own power.
