That's a giant load of shit. 2 seconds is not nearly enough time to review that way properly. Congrats to the OSU fans. Great game. UM didn't convert enough drives into points and that was the difference.

Ohio State is a lock.
No they aren't. I think PSU as a 2-loss conference champion with the H2H win trumps them, and there won't be a second B1G bid if Clemson and Washington hold serve (and Bama doesn't collapse).

The number one criterion for picking teams for the playoff is conference champion. But I'm not sure how you keep them out.

Edit: agreeing with you.

Ohio State has 3 wins over Top 10 teams, 2 of them on the road. Clemson and Washington currently have 0 wins against Top 10 teams.

Now Michigan still has a shot at the #4 seed if Clemson loses and Washington loses the Pac-12 title game.
Not likely. There will be a 2-loss conference champion ahead of them (Oklahoma or Colorado) in that scenario.

Bama wins 1 of 2 and they're in
Wash wins P12CG and there in

Clemson had too many clunkers to be automatic even with 2 more meh wins

Between them osu and psu and Wiscy and Landgrabbers for last 2

Michigan, ranked #3 for some unknown reason, came in and failed to execute on offense, defense and special teams. Their game plan was awful, the coaching shameful.

It was over before the first snap and they knew it.
You said they "embarrasssed" themselves. They didn't. But leave it to a Duke/UNC fan to interject themselves into the conversation when nobody gives a shit.

Ballsy call by Meyer to go for it on 4th. Given the circumstances I'm not surprised he did that (his kicker having missed two earlier, easier attempts), but it was still ballsy. Kudos to him.

Suck it Griese. Fuck you Harbaugh.

93 on OSU with the hold on the Samuel crazy play. Barrett looked a bit short on the 1st down, but UM has only itself to blame. They were much better for 2/3-3/4 of the game and didn't translate to points.

Also. Drocca is a tool.

This is not true, Stanford was top 10 when they played UW. Just as valid as including Nebraska as a top 10 team when they played OSU.

Don't sleep on Colorado. They're in the mix if they beat Utah and UW.

I don't put much stock in the early season rankings. Baylor was a Top 10 team at one point and that team stinks.

Ohio State has 3 wins over teams that will likely be in the Top 10 this week (Michigan, Wisconsin and Oklahoma). Ohio State also has a better loss than Clemson and Washington, who both lost at home, while Ohio State lost on the road to a team who will likely play for the Big 10 championship.

Michigan beat Colorado. With Oklahoma, they are in a much weaker conference. It would be a stretch, but Michigan isn't 100% eliminated by this loss.
They are and they should be. Wi your conference or shut up. Bama, Wash/Colo, Clemson, and the winner of OSU/PSU/Wiscy deserve to play for the title.

I do think he made it although it should have been close enough to require a measurement.

Remember in triple overtime a TD means you have to go for two. It gets pretty wacky.

I hate Harbaugh but that was an extremely generous spot on that play at the end. Should have been game over for UM
I agree with this. Bad spot. I think if there was a camera on the 15-yard line, that would have been the last play of the game. As it was, none of the camera angles showed a conclusive view that would have justified overturning the call.

I'm personally tired of OSU getting breaks, but then again, I hate UM. Don't blame me, I was rooting for the asteroid.

I generally agree with all of this, but based on USC's recent performances I don't think the discrepancy is particularly large. PSU and Wisconsin both losing early as well...

I don't agree with what you have above, but the refs simply weren't calling holding today.

I thought the refs were pretty fair overall. The only eyebrow raiser for me was the defensed pass in OT, where the OSU defender hooked the WR's right arm. But I can see an argument that even that was incidental contact.

As an un-aligned fan, I was kinda rooting for Michigan, but if they wanted to win that game they shouldn't have committed two, arguably three total face-palm-grade turnovers.

Remember the yellow line is unofficial. It may have been inaccurate.

Not in this case. Each overtime possession begins at the 25, so we know the 15 was the line to gain.

This line of argument illustrates how lucky tOSU was.
