Well, let's see what that actually says:

According to Matt Miller, it's because of Jackson's chronic knee problems. The knee issues were known at FSU, but didn't cause him to miss many games. He started more than 40 in his career. Jackson missed his junior year of high school due to a knee injury.

So did Gronk.

I know he hasn't been a picture of health but I'd make that pick over and over again

E5, I read that, but I wasn't necessarily relieved by it much, given the fact that teams reportedly failed him, despite the fact that back in college he managed the situation. I guess what should make me feel better is that the Patriots clearly were comfortable with what the doctors/reports told them.

Fourth-round picks come with question marks. That's why they're fourth-round picks

Okay, what's the apostrophe for?
Maybe it's an extra pause before you say his last name? So it's not Tre Jackson.

It's Tre . . . . . . Jackson.

How do you indicate that something is his if he already has the apostrophe?

Where would he have gone, based on on-the-field performance and other qualities (leadership, etc.), had he not had his chronic injury issue?

Edit: sounds like people had him as a late 2nd, early 3rd kind of guy.

Love this quote by the FSU O-Line coach.  Full article in the Boston Herald.
Jackson had been viewed as the best guard prospect in the nation entering last season, but his play fell off a bit as a senior, which could somewhat be attributed to the departure of Seminoles center Bryan Stork, who was drafted in the fourth round by the Pats last year. The re-pairing should yield a major boost for Jackson.
“I wish (the Patriots) would take all my guys,” Florida State offensive line coach Rick Trickett told the Herald yesterday, “because they’re about the only damn team that knows what the hell to do with them. I swear to God, the longer they (fall in the draft), I see a couple guys get drafted in front of this guy who couldn't carry his jock.”

This is pretty great too (from that same Herald piece):

He is a great guy. He is a Patriots kind of kid. He is
everything they want. He has never missed a meeting, a practice or a game here in four years. He is that kind of guy. He is a great person, has got a great family, and hell be a great football player. Hes got an edge on him now. Hes wanting to show people who slipped him down to the fourth round. I think they got a second-round player in the fourth round.
I like the cut of this Trickett guy's jib. College coaches always pump up their own players, but this guy really seems to have an especially good grasp of and respect for how the Patriots do things.

Trickett is a very well respected college OL coach.  The guy has written books on OL coaching and technique and has some kind of connection with Scarnecchia.  Peter King related this tidbit in a piece on DeGugielmo a few months back:

"And before selecting Stork, the Patriots called Seminoles offensive line coach Rick Trickett. “He said, ‘I put my reputation on this guy, ’” DeGuglielmo recalled. “That was enough for me and for Coach.”

Trickett is the Dante Scarnecchia of college football (Mayock used that phrase verbatim over the weekend) and a terrific technique coach. I can't find the link, and it was just a rumor, but he was the #1 candidate to replace Scarnecchia but turned down the job.

The "they're about the only damn team that knows what the hell to with them" line is kind of funny. As far as I can tell, Stork is the first Trickett product the Pats have drafted / worked with, so they must have made a hell of an impression on him with the way they handled him. (I think Stork is supposed to be a little bit tough from a personality standpoint, as this "interview" and the scouting report line "Will be best developed by a patient, respectful position coach" suggest)
