I expect that Baltimore will head into December as the better team.  They'll get their OL together; I don't see Manning finding a new arm in the meantime.

Agreed. This worked out well for the Pats.

Manning apparently cannot complete passes > 20 yards.

Just checking in, but I can't believe people didn't know who to pull for in that game. Denver all the way. Want no part of Baltimore in the playoffs.

Peter King was just on NBC. He lives in my building. My wife's quote, "He looks a lot more put together there, he's usually wearing sweats." Indeed.

The Broncos/Ravens game sure featured some elite quarterback play. 72 combined pass attempts, 58.3% completion, for a whopping total of 292 yards. 3.89 YPA, 3 interceptions.

At some point, we're gonna have to find something to discuss other than OBJ's one-handed catch.

Then again, easier to talk about that than Tom Coughlin and Jerry Reese's job security, the lack of defensive talent on the Giants (do they even have safeties?), or their OL issues.  Gronk made a similar catch in traffic vs. Denver last year, and somehow we all moved on.

I really like Andrew Luck, which takes a bit of effort because of the media ball washing.

I really hate the Manning-like overexposure of Andrew Luck, the endless commercials. Especially on days like today, when he really didn't light it up at Buffalo.

Forget it Jake, it's New York City.

Dammit, why can't they both lose?

Could not agree more with both of these posts.

Terrell Suggs tore his Achilles and is done for the year.

A beautiful loss just got more beautiful. Someone will yell in this thread how classless it is to root for injuries. True. But not in this case.

Let's see how Brady does with his new O-line there next week before we completely judge, right now Buffalo looks like a house of horrors.   They have playmakers all over the field and this is Rex's Super Bowl.

He's very good and seems likable.  But he is one of the most overrated athletes on the planet.   He might end up being the best or second-best quarterbacks someday but he's not there yet and I'm tired of hearing how amazing he is right now.  He's not Brady or Rodgers or Roethlisberger (and I'd still take Brees right now) and  has yet to prove he's better than Manning. He;s in Group II.

Buffalo's secondary isn't it's strength.

This is so true. He was picked by an ESPN panel of GMs as the NFL's 2nd best QB, which is patently absurd.

Nah. I watch him every week. Give him decent protection and he's unstoppable. The Colts' offensive line and running game has been putrid for most of his career.

Missed face guarding call

Face-guarding isn't a penalty in the NFL.

Now, there may have been early contact, but that's DPI, not face-guarding.
