The Saints look better on offense than last year. Turns out having a QB who can throw it 15 yards in the air opens some things up.

That red zone INT was very atypical by Rodgers. He's usually so careful with the ball and not making panicked, desperate throws.

And that's why the Giants suck. They had Teddy twice. But didn't get him. And then they had a chance to take down the TE. And they didn't. TD on a 4th and 1 that should have failed.

And then Joe Judge challenges the TD. But the thing is Joe, every TD is reviewed.

Costs the Giants a time out. That entire sequence was clown car stuff.

And Jameis throw an INT but gets bailed out by a laughable personal foul on the QB hit.

Ridiculous.
I think pick would’ve been overturned on replay (ball hit the ground), but I agree it’s a bad penalty call.

The defender did everything he's supposed to. Didn't hit the head or neck. Didn't put his weight on him on the way down.

FLAG!

The Steelers fans do travel well, but one hidden big portion of that is a shitload of Steelers fans moved out of the Pittsburgh area in the 80s when the town was in an economic crunch due to manufacturing downturn. Google Pittsburgh diaspora. So a really rabid fanbase had a lot of people scatter across the country but hold to their roots, through new generations as well. So while they do travel really well, just about every major city has an embedded fanbase already there from the diaspora.
Similar to Green Bay and the Wisconsin/upper Midwest diaspora.

So what do you think happens first, Aaron Rodgers to Jeopardy or Urban Meyer to USC?

Perhaps Collinsworth is right, but damn, if the left tackle didn’t realize he needed to block the edge rusher, the Bears’ O-line has bigger problems than a lack of time playing together.

Awful decision by the NFL to have this as a primetime game. Maybe they don't care as much during week one since everyone will watch anyways.
