Little bitty balls right there.    You have to go for the 4th and inches there

Good thing you punted and played field position there ASU.   You forced ND to spend at least an extra 17 seconds on that TD drive

Notre Dame can't win this.  They don't dare wipe the great joe Montana off the history books

Now ASU has to at least slow ND down on this drive,  can't let thrm score in 30 seconds

NC
Nick Marshall is even better than Eli Manning at the deep heave into double coverage that is inexplicably horribly covered and caught.

Remember when college scores averaged like 13 - 10, so they opened it up? I think they need to tweak it back.

Part of the problem is the WR are so freaking good now, and that doesn't seem to be changing.

Man, I hate when the play-by-play guy is SO sure that the ball is recovered by one team, when it's clearly a 50/50 ball.

Well that is going to be reviewed.   Huge fumble.  Not quite sure how Auburn didn't recover.   TAMU might just have a chance

something like let the defense hold up receivers coming off the line more. Get rid of the clock stop on first down rule.

Defense might give up more if they try to play more press coverage.

Getting rid of clock stop on first?  I don't know,  seems like you don't want to eliminate last minute drives.   That makes no sense to me.

The 2 feet on out of bounds might help a bit,  but not sure it is for the best.

You could do something like limit the number of eligible receivers to 4.  That is about the only thing that I can imagine that would help significantly.   You could also make some rule changes relative to balancing the field.  ie,  no 3 or 4 WR's on one side of the field.

Honestly, I think TAMU should just take the safety here

Shortening the game in order to reduce scoring seems like a terrible idea.

Really? CFB attendance is down, it's probably largely due to the increased length of games.
