I hate the NFL on Amazon with the fire of a thousand burning suns. I can't quickly or accurately fast forward or rewind, it doesn't work on my projection screen, and I have to listen to the corpse of Al Michaels which just makes me sad.

Anger. I have anger towards Amazon. They're probably responsible for Burrow's wrist, too.

It feels like the Ravens can run away with this game if Cinci doesn't magically heal Burrow before the second half

Do nfl owners watch these officiating shit shows?
crazy.
Interesting question. Other than a game with a direct impact on their own team.....like last reg season game to get into playoffs, do owners even watch other teams' games?

So both wins over Bengals because Burrow is hurt or hobbled. It would be nice for some bad luck to go the Ratbirds way for once.

Don’t get why the Bengals didn’t invest more in a backup QB.

If Burrow has to miss 4 games, hard to see them being better than 7-7 with at Steelers, at Chiefs and Browns the last 3 games.

This game is unpredictable?

That's a genuine insult to my profession and also to those who bet professionally. Modeling exists for a reason on our end as a book and also sharps who make a living off of it.

Was going to weatch the replay on NFLN but they spoiled it for me. I see Burrow had very few attempts. Hurt? What happened?

NM: I see it now 45 posts down. Wrist injury

F'ing Amazon renewed my subscription forPrime even though I canceled it 4 days earlier. Then I did the chat to get the refund, and you know what, still no refund. F Amazon. Hope Bezos drowns in Miami (I know he;s no longer in charge).

I’ve been watching TNF on Twitch.tv and found the experience to be better (even in image quality somehow). There is an alternate stream that offers a higher camera angle seeing the full receiver routes with additional graphical overlays too. You still have to listen to Al though.

Saw some stats. The Bills are 4th in Point differential, 3rd in yards per play, and 2nd in 3rd down conversion percentage. All of this to say, their offense has been one of the best in the NFL.

So coach Hardo (hat tip SJH) did the smart thing and fired the OC. Because obviously he was the problem.

edit - Bills also have their 2nd highest EPA per play going over the past 20 years.

Will the Dolphins know how to play against a team that is exactly .500? Biggest mystery of the day.
Haha, I'm expecting them to blow out the Raiders. And looking forward, when Miami takes on the Cowboys, we'll all be reminded of just how different it is to face a very good team at home, as opposed to on the road.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Lawrence responds vs. Tenn after getting his ass kicked vs. SF. I keep getting told that he's a "generational talent," but every time I watch him play, I see a dude who only throws the fastball and looks robotic in the pocket (doesn't know how to move coverage).

ESPN is dedicating a serious amount of time to raising awareness about fire safety, including a deep dive into the seriousness of the injuries Njoku sustained from his fire pit accident. Kind of a strange juxtaposition to how they discuss - or don’t - the specifics of football-related injuries, especially concussions, but it’s obviously explicable for financial/existential reasons.
