San Francisco Seattle should be good because of the 12th man especially on a holiday

Do we see any real competitive games tomorrow? Packers/Lions might be fun but the other two will be nap time after turkey.
The night game will be competitive if Geno Smith isn’t hampered by injury.

We’ll probably get one good game from the two earlier matchups, but it’s hard to get excited about two near-elite teams hosting below-average opponents.

Yeah, Seattle always plays the Niners well. But that was Russell Wilson and the Legion of Boom. Last year the 9ers swept them and after a close first half the Niners cruised in the playoff matchup.

I still expect a close game, and it's a must win for both teams who would like to win the division.

And who would have thought we'd be talking about Dallas and Detroit near-elite at the same time.

Fun throwback article about the “botched” coin toss during a late-90s Steelers-Lions Thanksgiving game (spoiler: Bettis screwed up and lied):

Watching those highlights reminds me how good Madden was in his prime -- "good angles aren't worth much versus speed" (referencing someone trying to tackle Moss) -- and how kickers need to bring back the single bar facemask -- it's such a great look.

We should revisit this EP thing. Was it really an improvement to move them back? What’s better because of it?
