You weren't referencing that obviously by mentioning Kaepernick. Thought you missed it, Big Ben.Al Zarilla said:Yeah, that was the whole thing. Thanks, Ben.
Which is weird because of the pace the Eagles usually play at.ilol@u said:This Philly/Seattle game is going to finish by Patriots kickoff. What a slow paced game.

Would add Dallas/Seattle.SemperFidelisSox said:Pats, Packers and Broncos are so far above the other playoff contenders because of their QB play it ain't even funny.
Someone was making a case for RGIII being Andrew Luck's Ryan Leaf. Maybe it's Kaepernick instead. I know, Kap was on the Niners the year before Luck was drafted.Curt S Loew said:You weren't referencing that obviously by mentioning Kaepernick. Thought you missed it, Big Ben.
That's not it. It certainly contributes, but it's balance and overall quality everywhere that separates them. If Pittsburgh had a MAC-quality secondary, they'd certainly be in that group, as one example.SemperFidelisSox said:Pats, Packers and Broncos are so far above the other playoff contenders because of their QB play it ain't even funny.

Funny. Because this time last year people thought those were the top 3 teams. I like how that turned out in FebruarySemperFidelisSox said:Pats, Packers and Broncos are so far above the other playoff contenders because of their QB play it ain't even funny.
Which was my point. Kaepernick doesn't fit the comparison. Peace out.Al Zarilla said:

Edit, I hope neither is near Leaf bad.
Yes, I did put a curve ball in there by mentioning Kap, repeated above. Peace.
I'm going to guess it's because you can't point at and taunt the crowd with an injured finger. I want to hate them more, but this is an awesome defensive secondary.Dollar said:Why the fuck can't someone walk/run off the field with an injured finger?
Making the 1st down is a very, very unlikely.cshea said:Why are they punting?

Fred in Lynn said:Every time they show Sherman on the sidelines, he's taunting opposing fans. That's low-life material. Come on, man.
Whatever the case, I couldn't claim he and his buddies on defense don't back it up. To the earlier post that cited quality QBs, I'm still putting my money on a repeat. Not seeing how any team will do things against the Seahawks when they play like this.Devizier said:
Disagree. I find it hilarious. If it weren't the Patriots getting blown out that day, the "National Guard" game from Shannon Sharpe would be one of my all time highlights for shit talking in NFL history.

I'd be a lot more impressed if this resurgence, hadn't come against three teams with terrible QBs.Fred in Lynn said:Whatever the case, I couldn't claim he and his buddies on defense don't back it up. Seems petty. They should have sent Snyder roses for his willingness to trade the farm to move up.swiftaw said:Yep.

Need a good defense draft, and the QB Chip envisions isn't on the roster yet. His season and a half has exceeded expectations.ShaneTrot said:Philly was waxed by GB and now throttled by Seattle. Not ready to compete with the big boys.
