Dak slid right into that, after the defender committed. There's nothing you can do when QBs take advantage of the fact that you can't hit them.
Defensive players are supposed to have some amazing reaction times. How about the QBs give themselves up earlier or face actually taking a lick?
I can see your point but part of me watches that and thinks he did everything he could to hit Dak with his helmet.
They need to make it unsportsmanlike against the QB when they dance on the sidelines or wait until the last possible second to slide. They are the only position that enjoys the benefit of extra protection, but they are gaming the system and taking joy out of the game imo.
Cardinals remind me of the Patriots. Hang with a lot of teams. Shit luck. Lots of boneheaded plays. Untimely penalties. Three wins including one against a pretty good team. Horrible interceptions all year.

I think I read that he can be cut after 6/1/25 without huge impact. So they are stuck with him next year.

Hardo’s boys have been kicking ass since his 9/11 gaffe story resurfaced. Weird but maybe it galvanized the team. Seeing him have to be a little humbled maybe took a bit of the Hardo edge away and brought the team along on his side in a fucked up way.

Well, the 9/11 story was 4 years old. He just had to eat crow over it again 2 weeks ago.

Completely agree that the turnaround is remarkable. That said, I think McDermott's seat is going to stay warm until/unless the Bills get to the Superbowl and maybe still then. It kind of feels like we are in the midst of their window and they still haven't done anything.
Yeah, he needs to undo the loss to the Chiefs in the playoffs in some way — maybe get to the Super Bowl or something big in the playoffs. No disagreement. I just thought they were finished given their schedule, and that 9/11 story seemed to be the straw to break the camel’s back. Only been 6 quarters, but so far, paradoxically, the opposite.
And a Cowboys comeback in this game will flip the narrative we are discussing very quickly.
