There was a play recently where on third down, Lance made a nice scramble run pan a pass play, got within 2 yds of the first down, and then ran out of bounds short of the marker to avoid contact instead of going for the first down.

Now that was a great play to Samuel. I mean Samuel is just a monster. No idea how he gets so open.
I mean that was all play call and Samuel, but I am glad Lance didn't miss it. Jimmy made a living on those passes in 2019 and again this year.
Lance has shown flashes, but for the 49ers to make some noise in the playoffs, they probably need Jimmy. Two years from now, Lance could be scary good if he improves like Allen did.
So next Sunday night pretty much has to be Raiders-Chargers right? It's basically a play-in game unless Indy loses to Jacksonville.

Great run by Mitchell to probably ice the game. Glad the 49ers could beat the Texans in a must-win game at home.
I think two games are being flexed to Saturday, not Sunday night.

With the playoff race reaching a boiling point, the NFL will flex a Saturday night doubleheader on Jan. 8. Those games have not been announced yet. The matchups will be chosen following this week's action, and both games will certainly have massive postseason implications. The rest of the Week 18 slate will take place the next day on Sunday, including a to-be-determined prime-time game that will officially end the 2021 regular season.

Like Miami when they were beating team after team without actual NFL quarterbacks. Backups to the backup. Some of the recent Dallas wins were against tomato cans.
Also their whole defense is like Diggs, they either get turnovers of they get torched.
Diggs' is having one of the worst years in NFL history on a statistical basis. His INTs cover up the fact that he's getting torched at a historic rate.
