Lance has shown flashes, but for the 49ers to make some noise in the playoffs, they probably need Jimmy. Two years from now, Lance could be scary good if he improves like Allen did.

So next Sunday night pretty much has to be Raiders-Chargers right? It's basically a play-in game unless Indy loses to Jacksonville.

(edit: and Pittsburgh loses at least one game.)

I don’t think there’s a SNF game on the last week of the regular season. Unless it’s changed recently.

2021 Flexible Scheduling Procedures
"Flexible scheduling" will be used in Weeks 11-18. Additionally, in Weeks 5-10, flexible scheduling may be used in no more than two weeks. In Weeks 5-17, the schedule lists the games tentatively set for Sunday Night Football on NBC. Only Sunday afternoon games are eligible to be moved to Sunday night, in which case the tentatively scheduled Sunday night game would be moved to an afternoon start time.

For Week 18, two Saturday games and the Sunday night game will be announced no later than six days prior to January 9. The schedule does not list Saturday games or a Sunday night game in Week 18, but games with playoff implications will be moved to those time slots. Flexible scheduling ensures quality matchups in all Sunday time slots in those weeks and gives "surprise" teams a chance to play their way into primetime.

I think two games are being flexed to Saturday, not Sunday night.

edit 2: if the Dolphins had won I imagine the Pats likely would have been flexed to Saturday

edit: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-schedule-heres-why-there-are-no-saturday-games-being-played-in-week-17/

With the playoff race reaching a boiling point, the NFL will flex a Saturday night doubleheader on Jan. 8. Those games have not been announced yet. The matchups will be chosen following this week's action, and both games will certainly have massive postseason implications. The rest of the Week 18 slate will take place the next day on Sunday, including a to-be-determined prime-time game that will officially end the 2021 regular season.

Might want to read that last sentence all the way to the end.

What happened to Tony Corrente? I saw a clip of him walking off with the trainers. Concussion?

Random stat I saw today... The Giants are averaging 100 less YPG passing since Daniel Jones got hurt.
He went 4-7 with this shitshow roster/coaching, I wonder if he's actually... good?

Dallas pretty fraud-y after all. Haven't beaten a good team all year outside New England @ New England and it appears more and more like that was their high water mark.

Like Miami when they were beating team after team without actual NFL quarterbacks. Backups to the backup. Some of the recent Dallas wins were against tomato cans.

Also their whole defense is like Diggs, they either get turnovers of they get torched.
