Smith also had a 0.0 rating this year, against Buffalo.

Edit: In only eight passes, but still...zero and perfect in the same season.  He has flashes of pro-bowlness surrounded by oceans of suck

That is maybe the most amazing stat I've ever seen. That's never happened before, right?

59 on Detroit was blocked in the back. I've seen that call made on a punt return more often than not. There is a reason why GB is so unbeatable at home.

I'd like to report that bronco's fans are insufferable. I'm at a bar in Denver where at least 5 different people have gloated to both me and the pats fan bartender that the pats lost today with no understanding that the game didn't matter because their team choked last week. They are now giving loud cheers and whistles for scoring a TD against the raiders in an almost equally meaningless game.

I'm doing some projects around the house today and listening to games on radio via the NFL app. Just listening to Carolina-Atlanta on the Falcons feed and it's funny how often they reference college ball -- where the players are from, things they did in college, Cam's offense at Auburn, etc. Really shows what brand of football rules the south.

Troy --

"If Ihedibo makes the play on Nelson, the Packers are punting ..."

There are universal truths.

And the racial typecasting of Jordy Nelson -- on this occasion, black-on-white prejudice -- is hilarious.

No. It doesn't.

And no pro team in the second largest city in the nation.
What happens when both LA teams skip town the year after Charlotte and Jacksonville get expansion teams.  Is there any doubt that neither of those markets would have gotten teams had LA and Houston been available landing spots?

Denver needs a win to lock down the 2nd spot and a bye.  A loss and a Bengals win tonight drops them to 3.  It's not entirely meaningless.

That being said, talking trash about a meaningless Pats loss where the backups played is just dumb.

I mean if they lose and the Bengals win the Bengals get the 2 seed no? But Id troll em and say the AFC is still wide open.

Caldwell seriously going for it on 4th and 10 this early?

Edit:  Yes they did, and stupid throw by Stafford.

Punting from the 30 is dumb.

If you don't think your kicker can make that kick in these conditions, I'd go for it too.

Edit: the real problem is that throw from Stafford….

Wait, what?
Just Google what teammates like Jennings have said, and what Nelson has himself acknowledge.
Nelson has benefited by being typecast in racial terms. To the point that Jennings went out of his way to stress -- ah, no: Jordy is not like other white WRs.

People have finally woken up. He is now called, among other things, white chocolate.

I see - I thought you were responding to something on the broadcast.

49ers and Rams both winning - that's why Garrett left everybody in as long as he did.
You don't need to try so hard. Redskins/ Dallas was not in doubt from the mid 2nd quarter on. I know. I watched it. But there seems to have been no serious injuries, so good for you!

Edit -- this is without rancor. The Cowboys are easily the best story in the NFL this year, and the playoffs are far more interesting with them good.

Atlanta throws an interception fumbles the ball, then gets a personal foul flag for a low block on the Panthers return?  That... doesn't even make sense.
