The Niners may have a developing kicker problem at just the wrong time. Moody missed a FG and XP today.
If I'm the GM, I bring Gould out of retirement at halftime. Unfortunately they don't pay me the big bucks to make knee jerk decisions like that. :redwine:

It is kind of funny that while all these thread are going on about Belichick, you have Matt Patricia in Philly calling plays for a defense that has turned into the worst in the NFL.

They have given up TDs on 7 of their last 10 drives.

Puka Nacua, fantasy hero, sets the rookie reception and yard records. Dude played banged up all year and still tore it up.

Puka Nacua just hit the yards number to put him alone at the top for yards and catches.

Basically Demario Douglas and Kendrick Bourne had the same season, if you think about it from a process standpoint.

Choosing to put Matt Patricia in this position makes me seriously question Nick Sirianni’s judgment.

1 hour later, 35-10 Dallas. WAS stinks so bad.
Yeah, they are brutal. The expected outcome just took a bit of time to declare itself.

Pats on the clock at #3.

I never felt this was a clear 2 player draft with Williams/Maye then a major drop off (as some implied at one point), so this is fine.

Luria cleans house, hire BB, and sticks it to Kraft one more time winning the SB next year.

Total head-scratcher. Why would head-to-head not be the initial tiebreaker?
I can understand it--the draft is supposed to help you rebuild your entire franchise. A one off H2H doesn't necessarily show who who the better team is.

Agreed.

That being said, the NFL should do a lottery for the bottom 5 teams. Anything to mitigate tanking to some degree.

Particularly when the home team won by 3 points, which is about what you'd expect from two evenly matched teams.

Yes. And I’d lock up Lawrence, assuming he’ll take Herbert money.

But the road ahead looks harder than it did a year ago. Houston’s rebuild is complete, and Indy’s is ahead of schedule.
I‘m a wait til next year for a Trevor extension. Guy His last win was in late November. He’s not a bust, but he has yet to join the elite.

Unless he’s looking for not elite level money maybe he can wait Accuracy, processing, and ball security all need to get better.

Why aren't the stations flexing out of these boring blowouts? Switch to the closer games that have playoff implications. Also enough with Dallas being on every Sunday

Brandon Aubrey is collapsing at the wrong time for Dallas, after one of the best rookie season for a kicker ever.

The NFL record no repeat winners streak in the NFC East remains intact -

Since 2005 - NYG - PHI - DAL - NYG - DAL - PHI - NYG - WAS - PHI - DAL - WAS - DAL - PHI - DAL - PHI - WAS - DAL - PHI - DAL

Depends on the market. You generally can't flex out of the local team's game.

I imagine the NFL is very happy getting Green Bay @ Dallas and Stafford/LA @ Detroit next week.
