Mane needs to stop holding the ball so much. Just move the ball. The only guy allowed to hold the ball in tight space is Firmino.
At least Philips look lively since coming on.

Misspelled Revierderby. There’s only one real derby this weekend... #M23
I'm not so sure. we've seen this kind of game before with Liverpool. Lots of bark but little bite. Everton look pretty solid at the moment. I reckon Liverpool will do well do get a draw.Everton gonna lose this if they just sit back.
if Luiz’s was...It’s a bad situation but surely that’s a red. It’s a clear DOGSO
That's the Luiz issue from a few weeks ago. Red doesn't require intent, the only thing that protects you is if you are attempting to play the ball and foul the man and while TAA was clearly attempting to play the ball before the shot, he's just as clearly not attempting to play the ball when the foul occurs on the rebound.I don’t think Trent had any idea what he was doing. It’s a penalty for sure but does the red require some intent? Versus standing up in the guys path to the rebound?
Yeah, that was a joke.Just saw the replay of Kavanaugh "checking" the penalty and I mean... doesn't really matter because Liverpool aren't scoring anyway, but at least pretend you watched the play
They're down to CBs 5 (6?) and 8 on the depth chart, and their effective midfield players are pushed into defense, injured, or have been run into the ground. How did a world class team turn into shit so quickly?
I’m mostly just hoping that Monday won’t be as awful as the last few. There’s only one real derby this weekend... #M23
Agree with this. It's either not a foul at all, or it's a penalty + a red card. Of course the ref picked neither of those because reasons. If that is a foul why isn't it a red card by the Luiz standard? He isn't attempting to play the ball at the point the foul occurs.
IMO, it shouldn't have been a foul to begin with. Once DCL has shot and TAA has slid, its now on DCL to not trip over the man in front of him. At the very least TAA has as much right to that part of the pitch as DCL.
If Alisson doesn't spill the rebound it never gets called.
I don’t think it’s any coincidence that he’s scoring less from open play since he started diving at the littlest touch. In his first year at Liverpool he’d stay on his feet once in awhile and find himself in good situations. Now he’s on the ground if a light beam hits him wrong.
Does Crystal Palace pretty much every season I’ve followed them count?I can't even get upset about this. Injuries happen, but how many teams have ever lost their top 3 center backs for the season, plus their 2 top central midfielders that were filling in?
Agreed. Maddison gets all the press, but I think Barnes is better.Harvey Barnes is so good
Trying to see around Moss who basically stands in the center circle for 90 minutes I imagineI have no idea what Arsenal are trying to do with the ball when they get it. I’m fairly certain they don’t either.
It has been super strange. I think he doesn’t want to go spot the ball and walk off a wallJon Moss has given advantage a half dozen times where there has been none for the team that got fouled, it's astounding
