Let's get going

Opening the week is 49ers at home vs the Giants on Prime.

I'm not good at posting the area maps and all that, will leave that to you guys, but at least want to get the ball rolling.

Edit: And it looks like Aiyuk is out. Last I read he had no fractures or breaks, so here's hoping he's back for week 4.

Ronnie Bell looked good in the pre-season, will be interesting to see him get snaps with Aiyuk out (though mccloud probably gets the majority of his workload).

Brock does not look sharp. There's no better evidence of Al Michaels losing his fastball than the fact that George Kittle just made a great play to knock a ball away from a defensive back and Michaels' described it as the defensive back knocking the ball away from Kittle.

Deebo has got to be pissed. Purdy missed him twice on that last set of downs and threw to him in triple coverage the one time the ball was thrown accurately.

Everyone saying Mac is better. This is Purdy looking terrible.

This is as bad a drive as I’ve seen him play and I’ve seen almost all of them. He’s normally much better and more accurate.

He wasn't great last week, either. But I would not say Mac is better.

Last year, we knew of a site that showed these games for non-Amazon subscribers. Anyone know if that exists this year?

We root for a team where our present best case scenario is for them to make the playoffs as a WC and play competitively while getting eliminated. You root for a team that expects to go to the Superbowl. I am not sure we are all that objective about your QB.

The only thing I’d say is someone would have a warped view of Purdy if they’re basing their view of him off that opening drive, where he was really off by his standards.

Also, I really hate Thursday games.
Its a Pats forum. We are bitter and incapable of objectively assessing anyone who plays or coaches or manages our teams. You know this so don't let the idiocy here get to you.

That throw to Kittle was a dime btw.

How are the 49ers able to pay all these guys and people are worried about being able to sign Kyle Dugger?
they aren't paying much this year to most of these guys. (and McCaffery is realtively cheap because all his bonus money stayed in CAR.)
on the other hand they have 281M committed next year (Pats by comparison have 138)

My take after hearing this all offseason is there isn’t a chance in hell Darnold starts this year if Purdy doesn’t get injured.

Injuries are what they are.
He probably will though, Shanahan has only had a QB start every game once in the 6 years he's been there.

Wait, are WRs allowed to do what Samuel just did? Run down the field after a short pass and pick up yardage? I've never seen that before!
