He generally throws floaters. The offense is boring. Very little deception or creative motion plays.

Mac never had to play a BB D. Everyone overlooks that part. He enjoys breaking boys.
Of course not. But they surely will be questioning BB's coaching over coffee Monday.
Is that any different than it's ever been. Roger Staubach. Terry Bradshaw. Joe Montana. Troy Aikman. Tom Brady. Patrick Mahomes.
You always needed a great QB, outside of the occasional random year.
The team was depleted when Brady left. It is now in fairly good shape beyond QB. Put a league average QB ony his team right now and they are 3-0.
I am genuinely touched by Mac paying tribute to Wake by only throwing knuckleballs but somewhat question the choice of venue.
I think it goes back to not playing enough in the preseason. This offense needs all the reps it can find and they barely played in the preseason and only had joint practices against one opponent.
The first 3 Pats Superbowls were won by teams built around defense and ball control.
That isn't possible any more. Also most of those qbs listed were meh.

Agreed. Until this game Mac hasn't been the problem. QBs are going to have terrible games on occasion. He's not great, but he's also not nearly as bad as his showing today.
Not enough to generate a turnover though. He needs to care as much as Mac and Dallas.
Yes, this team needs more work to get ready for the season. They aren’t good enough to figure things out in September like they did occasionally in the later Brady years.

Yeah, but Brady's peak was best player in the sport, Mac's peak is "not the reason you lost".
