And Belichick is evil. Has he ever once made a complaint about officiating to the media in 15 years?RIrooter09 said:McCarthy blaming the officials. Is no one in this fucking league accountable?

There has to be an example, right? I honestly can't think of one, outside of mayne that Welker pick, and that was more a shot at Welker, for whatever reasons.

Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt and left tackle Taylor Lewan had strong words for Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon's hit on Marcus Mariota in the first quarter of Sunday's game.
"I think it was B.S.," Whisenhunt said after Tennessee's 38-10 loss to Miami. "That's not the way you play football. I think it was done with the idea of trying to hurt our quarterback, and that's bulls--- football."
"I think it is bulls--- football," said Lewan, who was beaten by Vernon on the play. "I'm so tired of people being politically correct. That's bulls---, that's f---ing bulls--- to do that to a player -- to do that to a guy's career.
"That was my guy and I blocked him, and Marcus threw the ball and I saw Marcus threw the ball, and that guy jumped in his legs. Do I wish anything upon him? No. I should have blocked him longer. That's the end of the story."

I guess, he grabbed the guy asking for an explanation, but he didn't say much about it to the media. That entire game was a shitfest from the officials.shawnrbu said:
That and the time he assaulted a referee following a loss to Baltimore.
That was Brady, I think.PedroKsBambino said:
The Carolina game where the blatant PI was picked up he made comments about not being able to get an explanation, I believe
Of course, he was totally right about the blown call there.

Link doesn't work for me, but I believe you.I believe Brady did say something similar, as I recall.PedroKsBambino said:

And no one can blame him for it, either.

Carolina was the game where the Pats lost like 25 seconds from the clock operator on the last drive. The total screwjob game was the Ravens game from the replacement refs. I remember Baltimore starting the comeback on an "illegal contact" call on Mayo when he was 5 yards from the guy.Deathofthebambino said:
If it's the same game I'm thinking of, that was, by far, the most heinously officiated game I've ever seen, before or since. And that's saying a lot. It even led to a thread where we dissected every single penalty call in the game, and looking back on each, the Patriots got fucked over and over and over again on calls that should have led to an investigation from the league. Shit like that goes more to the integrity of the game than any amount of PSI in a football, IMO.
