The Raiders will win 21-17 ... scoring TD on a kick return, a strip sack return and a Pick-6
There is no chance that toothless Oakland offense can do anything against Houston today. The only way Oak wins is by the above, miracle TD's. It's very unlikely. Their season ended when Carr's leg snapped.

I put this in the Fiskful thread but I'll repeat it here:

On Mel Kiper this morning some Vegas guy named Scott Spritzer said the "public" money was coming in heavy on Dolphins/Raiders whereas the "sharp" money is strongly tilted towards Steelers/Texans.

He also made a pretty convincing argument for the Over in Seahawks/Lions, saying the Seahawks generally go over at home and in the playoffs.

Add: I think he said there was also a huge public/sharp split on Lions/Hawks.

Boston
Think the Texans win comfortably and Hawks Lions over seems like the bet of the day. Seattle has been one of the worst pass defenses in the league since Thomas got hurt.

Mercilus with Gruden in the pregame giving kudos to coaches Vrabel and Crennel for his play. I hadn't seen film of Vrabel in a while. Looks the same but with more facial hair.

Let's do it. How do the odds work? I'd be happy to wager up to 2k. With half my winnings, when I receive them, to go to the Jimmy Fund.
Did you just Mitt Romney me? I got ten points for -110. I did a fun $100 bet on bovada. I don't have near enough confidence to go that large against a finance dude whose bonus just hit. I'll add another 110 against 100 for you.

I feel kinda ashamed now, baller.

The cradle of the game.
Reposted for emphasis

Interesting factoid per Mike & Mike this morning:
The team with the top rated total defense (YPG allowed) has won home playoff games 8 times in the last 8 opportunities: 2015 DEN, 2014 SEA, 2013 SEA and 2008 PIT.

The 2016 top rated defense? Houston. (Among playoff teams, SEA is 2nd and NE 3rd.)
Plus, OAK's white on gray unis make them feeble and weak.

I don't get bonuses, if that makes you feel better. I'm in sales, not management.

But 110 against 100 is confirmed. I thought you were a lawyer. Don't you get bonuses?

edit - note, when I win, all will go to Jimmy Fund.

I believe I read they paid $100 million, and are only going to make back ~$25 million on it.
I've seen same numbers and guess I don't understand them---the ad buys are before we know who is in the game, so a little surprising they missed demand by THAT much unless it's purely a prestige buy. But someone around here probably actually knows the economics for it, so perhaps they'll explain it.

I still think Cook may be the better QB in this game

I'm not a watch buyer, I've worn the same one since 2007. So I have plenty of money to blow on random internet wagers.
