Great arm, but I'm not wowed by his footwork, no matter what UZR says about his range. Crawford has elegant footwork.Ed Hillel said:Simmonds?
He wouldn't have beaten the throw. I don't think it would have been all that close, really. At least a full step.InsideTheParker said:If Pence had beaten the throw again, all we would have heard was that he should have thrown home to prevent the run scoring.
Finnegan?coremiller said:How does Yost let the Giants rally against his pen without using any of his best relievers? Duffy has been hung out to dry here.

I mean, if we give him 7 years and like 140 million, yeah. I'm not sure why concern of his hand-eye coordination should be different than with any other player.DeJesus Built My Hotrod said:I am telling you - the main board will implode at some of his ABs. When he loses his eye-hand coordination and/or gains another 30 lbs after getting his contract the hand-wringing around this place will be the worst since the Crawford contract.

Just like Candlestick there. Why do they build their stadia with the ground below sea level?

Seriously, why the white flag duty for Finnegan?
Hm, didn't know about Fenway. Candlestick was notorious for always being wet and slippery, even when it hadn't rained in a while. Looked that way when Affeldt slipped, although it has rained.Max Power said:
The field at Fenway is a few feet below street level. I assume it's so you don't have to build the upper deck as high above the street.
