This Mets offense goes back to real anemic without MVP-level Cespedes, huh?

Cespedes/Duda/d'Arnaud have all been terrible (Duda the best of the bunch, but it's been mostly singles)

I don't follow the Mets all that closely, but every time I've heard him interviewed my impression has been "Dennis Hopper still on the bottle in Hoosiers."

Agreed. Which was why the NLDS was so surprising (multi-inning Familia, Syndergaard in relief, avoiding the shitty bullpen), it seemed like it was playoff Collins emerging... but it appears to have just been a temporary patch of sanity

Or possibly not, wow he is pumped. A great recovery in that inning and still under 100 pitches. Curious to see how terry handles the 8th. Avoid Clippard and they should win.

I feel like Terry is so by the book he'll go to his closer because it's "closer time" but seriously hope he doesn't. This is one for the history books. Give the 9th to Harvey.

I didn't see anything in this game that makes me think the Mets can win two more. Harvey was the only one who showed up. The offense is still anemic and now Cespedes is probably done. KC finishes this Tuesday.
