Jeff Frye, simply because he was the exact type of player I was: a zero power, high OBP, decent speed, second baseman (fun fact, I once went 2 for 4 on an entire season, with about 45 walks).
And for some reason I have nothing but fond memories of Matt Stairs and his time here, but when I look up his stats, he was terrible as a Red Sox. I thought maybe he hit a key walk-off home run, but no. His lone home run as a Red Sox came in a loss.
I feel like baseball-reference is lying to me, and Stairs' 1995 season should more resemble Johnny Gomes' 2013 season.
