I hate the "begin live coverage at 2, but don't actually show live golf until 2:30" thing.
Listening to Nantz drives me nuts. He is the worst, in general. But knowing they could be showing golf instead of hearing him blather on is offensive.

It has to be an ANGC thing to keep repeatedly showing the opening tee shots on Thursday. The highlight packages, who knows. CBS may be to blame for that.

Feels like one of these two guys could win this thing. If the putting holds up, DJ could do something stupid like eagle 13 and 15 down the stretch.

Back-to-back birdies for Spieth, up 3 strokes. Hope he can hang on.
Up three but more importantly up five on Day. The other players in between aren't exactly scary. Even if Johnson manages a birdie on nine he's such a mess in majors I'm not sure he's worth worrying about until he proves he can actually do something.

He's staring at a birdie on 8 here too.

He is a hell of a player, may end up being an all time great, but man I get no joy watching him play. So corporate. So painfully slow
I get the slow argument, but what exactly do you mean by the bolded?

I love watching him play. There are so few guys out there who show the emotion the way he does. Yesterday he was definitely fighting it, which I think slowed him down considerably more than normal, but I think it is refreshing.

Agreed with all of the above on Spieth. Was just telling my wife the same thing. I'm sure he's a nice guy but he's terribly boring to watch play golf. He doesn't hit it that long, doesn't take too many risks, etc... The best thing I can say about him is his misses are better than everyone else's. That probably sounds like I'm short changing him but I do mean it as a compliment. His mental game is better than everyone else's.
