Not sure DAL can do much more anyway. Shot to the end zone? Still kind of far.

What exactly was the snap infraction? Aren’t you generally allowed to handle the ball some as long as you don’t bob it back?

so when does Jason Garrett get fired
It would be ironic if JJ fired him now. They’ve underachieved for most of Garrett’s tenure, but I think 3-4 is a decent showing given the talent on hand and injuries.

The fact that the defensive player looked like he had seen a ghost, and didn't even motion towards the offense like they had moved was enough to tell me that the refs jobbed Dallas on that call. Pretty standard with the way the rest of the game was officiated.

Football is so fun. Romo captured the excitement of this Skins/Boys game really well.

Meh, I was ok with the call. If you’re going to place the long snapper off-limits as a defenseless player, it’s not too much to ask him to hold the ball still.

Wasn't there another defensive player standing there with his hands on this head like wtf did you do

You saw the ball move? I didn't see much of anything there from the snapper, but didn't really have a good look. Like I said, the Redskins didn't seem to know the call was going their way until it did.

Yeah Dallas got fucking hosed by the refs including the key call at the end but that just diverts attention from the shitty passive style Garrett played at the end. Should've been rushing the entire time until it was a chip shot and then shit like a bad ref call wouldn't matter there.

I haven't seen a good replay of the snap yet, but Skip Bayless says it was a terrible call, so I expect to soon see video that it was a clear snap violation

The Mahomes hype train is in full gear.

I think it’s half NEW SHINY OBJECT and half LOOK AT THAT GUNSLINGER GUNSLING IT.

He’s a tremendously talented player, but yeesh

He moved it. Not much, but he did.

He does the same thing on the XP to make it 20-17. No flag.

The officiating twitter explains exactly why one was called and the other was not, in one case the defenders jumped across on the movement, therefore they have to call it because there is contact.

edit- 2 things stick out to me on that:
1. Refs rarely call every minor violation, but.... if there is a situation where a minor violation causes another violation that requires stoppage, they have to call the 1st one, in this case the ref probably was going to let it slide, but once there was a choice between calling an offside or the illegal snap he has to call the snap. Just like how a some minor false starts, particularly by backs and WRs don't get called, but if a defender comes across, they do.

2. He appeared to move the ball more forward on the FG than the XP (maybe trying to get a bit more on it for a faster snap? No clue) certainly it looked more like a jerky movement than the XP did.
