One of my favorite hockey fan things is when you root for your own player to be bleeding just to get that extra two minutes. Lol

Like the fire from Beecher at the end of that play when the Kings guy went after him... nothing stupid, but also I'm not going to take shit from you
I’m liking Beecher quite a bit to start the year. He’s looking a quality bottom six center with a bit of sandpaper to his game. Be really nice if he turned into a long term low key contributor to the team
Definitely encouraging so far. I liked the draft pick and in some of the games I went to in Providence last year, you could see how he might contribute with that combination of size and speed.

In other games, not so much. Hopefully he’s getting more consistent at the right time in his career

That it is 1-0 vs being down by 2 or 3 is all Sway. Exceptional period for him. He strikes me as being more confident this year. He seems to have integrated the rookie lessons well.

Did the Kings complain to the refs about the double minor should have been a roughing since it was glove and not stick... so they decided to call that "boarding"?

it's so weird seeing a team that is dominating possession and getting more chances... also getting more PP... never seems to happen for the Bruins

Cause it seems like a fight for fights sake... I don't mind going after a guy if they just sucker punched someone or took a really bad run at a star... but fights off puck drops? meh...
Eh, I get it, but there is still a place for it. I bet Freddy got challenged before the puck drop and he wanted to keep the B's momentum so he obliged while the Kings player was trying to shift it
