Browns trying rot get back into 1at for WR per Rap.

Pats may have a nice auction for their pick.

A lot of people think Manziel is going to be a star QB in the NFL. If you think he's a 50-50 pick, how can you regret trading a third round pick to move up and take that chance?
Ok, my original meaning was I think he's a 5th round talent who got bailed out by his WRs and has character issues.

Its all breaking perfectly, as long as Arizona doesn't take TBW.
Not sure it matters. If any of these teams was really gung-ho for Bridgewater they would have taken him already. A team that's hot for a OL or CB is just as likely to trade up.

Ok. I disagree with your assessment, but I understand what you are saying now. I think his character issues are hugely overblown.

I think Bridgewater being out there increases the likelihood of a trade down but yeah, point taken.  Teams aren't exactly knocking down the door to grab him.

I wonder if the Pats would trade back with CLE, if they want back in.

Something like 29 for 35 and a 3rd or 4th rounder?

I guess if someone really wants a wide receiver, like Cleveland, this is a pretty damn good draft and spot to trade up.  Lee, Benjamin, Adams and Robinson are all guys that literally could have gone in the top 20 last year, IMO. Frankly, I wouldn't be too unhappy with the Pats taking any of them, assuming Nix doesn't make it to them, but I'd place the odds of the Pats drafting today somewhere around 25-1 right now.

What is "value?"

I suppose it's more about probability, and the likelihood of finding an above-average player at a given position.
Guys who are seen as primarily RT's rarely carry 1st round grades and can be found deeper in the draft...So that was why I made reference to "value".

Now with that said, I'm not going to scream about the James pick being a reach, because at the end of the day there are only good or bad picks, and where you're picked simply establishes expectations.
When you take James as a RT at #19, you're saying he'll be a starter sooner-than-later, and he'll be an above-average player at the position.
If that's the case and he is that kind of player, than Hickey is gold, and my initial fretting and whining here will prove misguided.
And I suppose most of that stems from it being the type of pick I'd have expected from Ireland.  Once they spent a ton on Albert and secured the LT spot, I had hoped it would free them up to be a bit more creative in the 1st round....That obviously wasn't the case.  They looked to fill a hole, and we'll see if James lives up to expectations...As a Dolphins fan I sure hope so.

The Pats are not going to pick tonight. Bill loves trading down not to mention the lack of run stuffing 1st round talent from Rutgers

Anyone else having flashbacks to this time last year, when great options were falling....and, well....ya know.

They traded down and ended up with JAMIE FUCKING COLLINS?

I'm #teamphragle on this - Collins is a beast and when they do those "who should have been drafted, where?" articles in five years on the 2013 draft, Collins will be in the top 10.

Once people start chirping like they know what BB is going to do, I immediately think hes going to go against the grain.

Hes making the pick.

Who do people like for the Patriots as the Pats sit 3 picks away?

As a Cleveland homer I'm liking this draft a lot.  I'm not sure JFF's skills will work in the NFL but I'm sure at the very least he'll be entertaining.  I might actually buy into the Browns for the first time for a decade or more.

He's got some intriguing upside, but I haven't seen him anywhere close to this high in any mock drafts.
