Major hold by Cilic on his serve being down love 30 and then a Federer Break point to take a 3-1 lead.
And then Cilic plays a shit game to consolidate the break, and Roger can't take advantage, but dumping a second serve to his forehand right into the middle of the net on break pointNo rain in the forecast plus they are on Center Court where they could close the roof but man is Roger in trouble. Cilic looks locked in right now.
Well, I am not sure I have ever seen Tsonga described as a guy who can't move well. That first set was unbelievable and the tiebreaker was insane, and really Tsonga should have won. But wow, really disappointed that he basically quit after that tiebreakHe may not need as much of it as you think. BigMike says Raonic and Cilic are the same player, but when Cilic is on (see: 2014 US Open), he has a much better forehand and more spin on all his groundstrokes, and his serve may not be as fast as Raonic's but it's just as consistent. If it takes 5 sets for Federer to beat Raonic, I'd be surprised.
Berdych, meanwhile, will be a real tough matchup for Murray. Murray can play against big servers who can't move well, like Tsonga, all day long. They're on-serve in the first but unless he melts down, I think it'll be straight sets for him. But Berdych is a defensive counterpuncher just like Murray, with nearly Murray's speed (if not his net play), and on a good day his forehand and serve are better than Murray's. Andeh can't exploit Berdych's weaknesses the way, say, Federer can.
It is amazing at times how these guys do that, basically get upset, tank a set and then somehow recover. He appears to have unquit, though I agree he looked defeated in the second set. Almost despondent.
