What was that Mikey P was saying about pass interference? Can’t be called by rule?

Did I hear that right? I did not know that rule
Yeah, I had no idea. On a pass to one of the gunners, you can't be called for pass interference. So as soon as the receiving team hears someone yell "Fake," why aren't they taught to just tackle the guys on the outside? I guess maybe that's why you see so many fake punts are runs by the up guy, or passes over the middle, rather than deep shots to the outside.

If the rams never fired Jeff Fisher would jared goff be on another team this year?

And you can’t fix this disparity in one offseason. If we were to hold our team to the standard it has set over the last 18 years — not scraping through with 5th or 6th seed, but being legit threat to win it all — it’s time for a rebuild.

I have no interest in getting in and getting annihilated by teams like these.
That's what is so aggravating. The Pats were one play away from winning the Super Bowl. They didn't need to rebuild. BB basically forced a rebuild by dumping so much talent in the offseason, and trying to replace it with shit. I just don't get it. The offense should have been left alone. You resign Lewis, instead of drafting Michel (which wouldn't have cost much more than what they have to pay Michel anyway), and you use that pick on defense, maybe grab another defensive free agent with the money you saved by losing Solder, and you're right back in it again.

I just don't get it. It's like BB wants to rebuild the team, with a 41 year old QB.

I never realized until tonight that Joe Buck is half decent. I think it is the contrasting his performance tonight with the travesty of MNF.

Touchdown 19. Football is incredible for drama this year.

Cousins is a damn good QB. If Wash had not come up with Smith, this town would be burned to the ground.

I have Robert Woods on my bench. Fortunately, I started Goff, so it shouldn't matter much. Wow. It's not even the fourth quarter. Best part is it's not a blowout, so these two teams are going to keep going at it. This is fun.

This is high scoring but this is Big 12 level shit defense. I don’t like it.
This is what the League wants, esp with viewership challenges and the synergy with fantasy.

I don’t like it either. And unless they back off what we have seen on sacks, I’m probably gone.

They can okey-doke this all they want. This is Arena football.

Did you see the release, and video examples Troy Vincent and the League released today, after the committee met regarding the roughing the passer rules? If not, check it out. It's high fucking comedy, and proof that they have no fucking clue what they are doing. Basically, if a defender lands on a QB, it's now roughing. That sack by Donald was pretty much the only kind of sack you can have that won't result in a penalty at this point.

I don't know guys. I'd rather watch this than the 9-6 shitshow of a game that Tennessee/Jacksonville played last weekend. It's obviously bad defense, but it's helped out by the fact that both of these teams are stacked on offense. For years, almost every Thursday night game was a shitshow, or a blowout, so I'll take this every time.

Thanks. I’ll check it out.

The NFL lawyer involvement here is driving a lot of this as well.

There’s college.

How many yards will Xooks get tonight?

Cooks.

I mean, if you offered me a choice of high or low scoring, I choose high but this is so far from elite football.

What's the highest number of pass attempts a QB has had in a game, while still maintaining a perfect QB rating of 158.3? Goff is currently at 158.3 on 25/31, for 459 yards and 5tds.

>Watching Cooks makes me throw up in my mouth.

I don't kn ow much about football but it looks like the Rams use Cooks a lot different from how the Pats used him.

Dalvin Cook hurt again? Haven't seen him in a couple quarters. Been all Murray, and now, something called a Mike Boone.

I think Bill's stubborn m'fer strategy of never paying "top dollar" for a FA finally cracked when met with years of bad drafting and some key injuries. Injuries though are a part of NFL life, of course.

I will never understand how, with all of the kicking issues around the NFL this year, Dan Bailey didn't have a job until Week Four. It's insanity.

well, getting by with a backup kicker has kept MIN in the game for now.
He's not really a backup. Dallas cut Bailey to save cap money this year. He's one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history. Minnesota should be at least 2-1, if not 3-0, if they had just signed Bailey, instead of starting the season with a rookie kicker who couldn't get it done.

Edit: Not 3-0, they got killed by Buffalo. Cleveland should be 3-0, if they had signed Bailey.

Yup. And if Derrius Guice had not gone down, AP still might be unemployed.

meant the LA kicker.

now LA gets a bit scared and it's a bad punt.
