Just purely subjective, and I'm comparing him to guys like Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray who are on another level. How are you analyzing him as just a good athlete? From what I’m looking at, the guy is incredibly gifted.

I wouldn’t put too much stock in listed college weight for these players. Wait for the combine/pro-day.Penix is listed as 6’3 213lbs
Jayden Daniels is listed as 6’4 210.
That’s hard to believe. Daniels looks more slight compared to Penix who looks to be a bit more filled out
Not if Myles Bryant is the cornerThat last TD is an easy INT in the NFL
I think he’s smoother than Lamar, though less strong and explosive. Kyler’s hard to compare anyone to - being small like that makes it easier to move so it’s not a fair comparison.Just purely subjective, and I'm comparing him to guys like Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray who are on another level.
Not necessarily. I don’t trust McCarthy to not throw a couple bad picks. And UM’s special teams could gift points as well.Michigan is going to roll either of these teams.
I don’t think Michigan will “roll” these teams but that’s a bold thought considering McCarthy has thrown 9 total interceptions over the last 2 seasons. Not necessarily. I don’t trust McCarthy to not throw a couple bad picks. And UM’s special teams could gift points as well.
Also Sweat is the best DT Corum/UM will have seen all year. Not necessarily. I don’t trust McCarthy to not throw a couple bad picks. And UM’s special teams could gift points as well.
prom nightIs this the first time some of you are seeing Penix?
He was off a lot today.I don’t think Michigan will “roll” these teams but that’s a bold thought considering McCarthy has thrown 9 total interceptions over the last 2 seasons.
This is shocking to me. I figured Penix easily had 20+ pounds on him.Penix is listed as 6’3 213lbs
Jayden Daniels is listed as 6’4 210.

Texas matches up vs Michigan realllllllly well. Washington is about the worst matchup for TexasMichigan is going to roll either of these teams.
Is he a coverage guy (sounded like that’s where you were most worried)Texas’ arguably best secondsry player gets to play in the 2nd half. Williams was out due to a fairly BS targeting call vs OK State.
That halftime lasted forever. Will the game end before 1AM?
Good job tv execs
Yea, true freshman. Is he a coverage guy (sounded like that’s where you were most worried)
And good pocket presence. Both those traits can get you far in the league. So he can make all the throws. Every level of the field. He can throw absolute frozen ropes and he can drop balls in the bucket with perfect touch. And he's accurate as hell.
Why wouldn't we want this guy as the Pats' next QB?
and Brady in the 6thTake Daniels in the first and Penix in the second.
So you’re saying he rises to the occasion?I've seen Penix in half a dozen games. He's good, but this is the best I've seen him play.
