Penix is listed as 6’3 213lbs
Jayden Daniels is listed as 6’4 210.
That’s hard to believe. Daniels looks more slight compared to Penix who looks to be a bit more filled out
I wouldn’t put too much stock in listed college weight for these players. Wait for the combine/pro-day.

Just purely subjective, and I'm comparing him to guys like Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray who are on another level.
I think he’s smoother than Lamar, though less strong and explosive. Kyler’s hard to compare anyone to - being small like that makes it easier to move so it’s not a fair comparison.

Really don't know how I'm gonna be able to stay awake to see the end of this. Back to work tomorrow. :(

Not necessarily. I don’t trust McCarthy to not throw a couple bad picks. And UM’s special teams could gift points as well.
I don’t think Michigan will “roll” these teams but that’s a bold thought considering McCarthy has thrown 9 total interceptions over the last 2 seasons.

This is shocking to me. I figured Penix easily had 20+ pounds on him.

So he can make all the throws. Every level of the field. He can throw absolute frozen ropes and he can drop balls in the bucket with perfect touch. And he's accurate as hell.

Why wouldn't we want this guy as the Pats' next QB?

And good pocket presence. Both those traits can get you far in the league.

Ok…this guy throws a dart. The four season ending injuries are obviously a big red flag but damn…he gets the ball out quick, great vision and accuracy.

The problem is that we have to get to Penix in the backfield. That’s the only answer for Texas. And everyone on earth knows it, so if Sweat and Murphy get ganged up on 5 against 2 we are screwed.

Yeah someone needs to explain to me why Penix isn’t a good prospect. I just see him throwing seeds within inches of the perfect place.

He looks like the good version of Tua. Similar throwing style (obviously lefty but also the motion looks similar to me).

Nix looked good earlier. Penix has made some incredible throws tonight. Prolly the best deep balls (including incompletions) out of any QB I've seen.

Michigan is tough but I don’t think it’s a gimme at all against Washington the way Penix is slinging it.
Much better QB than what Milroe showed. A lot of Alabama gaffes helped Michigan win.
