That was actually a great drive as far as managing time outs and everyone doing their jobs. Rare.
Fine game despite a bit of sloppiness here and there. Final score 34-32 after being 17-14 late in the 3rd.
Whittingham is a really great coach. We don’t worry about him in those situations.
Penix has thrown two INTs to Az State and its just the start of the second quarter. Heisman odds taking hits everywhere.
Caleb Williams clearly demonstrated what an ass he is. Even in defeat, favored players come out on the field and shake hands/ acknowledge the victor. Not so with Caleb. He languished on the sideline bench, sulking, and walked off with with nary an an acknowledgement to the victor.
They’re being cagey about it but from what I heard the injury is worse than initially thought and he may be out a while.
He'll probably redshirt then. Too bad, because while Barnes is fun and a good story, they aren't winning a championship with him.

Said if your offensive is all shotgun (which most are) going under center is something that is a big enough change to throw everything off and decrease chances of converting.
