Needless to say, I doubt they draft AH again. Spikes and Dennard, dont see why not.

If you want to be critical of the Pats, the ammo is there. I was struck by the suggestion that whether he was on your draft board or not probably turned on how deep you were willing to dig. Particularly given the Meyer/BB connection, the Pats' resources to dig deeply were probably unbounded.
On the other hand, I was struck by the observation by one executive that a few years in, AH appeared to be a terrific bargain.
Hindsight is great.
Going forward, I imagine the Pats will take guys this sketchy off their board.
But easier said than done. How do you differentiate between him and Spikes, for example? This morning I saw a story about Tebow and Brady discussing both after a Denver/Pats game. Tebow asked TB to take care of "my guys" -- AH and Spikes. Brady said yes, but suggested that both were high maintenance. Tebow said, "they are good guys."
