I stumbled across him recently, too, and I think his most likely role is a backup corner OF/RH bench bat with pop. He could possibly be a starter for some lower division teams. Injuries have derailed him every year since 2012, and the last two years were a step down from previous production (.680ish OPS across AA, AAA, and MLB). But he only played about half a season each year. He's had past success at AA and AAA and wasn't completely overmatched in limited MLB experience. The K rate is at 20% this season after being 25% over 1000 AAA PA. If that little drop is sustainable and he's back in good health, I like him a lot as a Chris Young replacement for the Red Sox. And he's two more B's in the outfield!Potential Young replacement next year.
