Boy is that a lot of years for a 28 year old guy who has been good for one partial season. Like the player and not a crippling salary but perhaps a stretch. Cleary, they think this is his new baseline...and he sure can shoot

agree, although happy to see a former orange kid make bank
Wow, no thanks
He’s meeting with a number of teams. Nothing concrete yet. Bet he goes back to Raps. Are there any Van Vleet rumors out there? He’s probably the best FA and I haven’t heard his name anywhere yet.
Still like the move for HoustonNow Wood agrees but for more money with Houston. View: https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1329986312720551945?s=21

Wow, heck of a passing frontcourt with him and Joker.Denver.
It would be crazy.Wow, heck of a passing frontcourt with him and Joker.
Kemba and Rozier last seasonDon’t know if I can ever recall a double sign-and-trade.
They got a lot tougher on wings with RoCo and now this. Nas Little should improve too.
Agree. Defense has been their weakness, and they’re bringing in strong defenders. Very solid. There’s talk they’re pushing for Ibaka, which would be a great get for them. They got a lot tougher on wings with RoCo and now this. Nas Little should improve too.
Grant and plumblee, I should’ve said two-for-oneKemba and Rozier last season
Durant and D-Loading last season
oh yeah that's much more rareGrant and plumblee, I should’ve said two-for-one

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that a highly driven athlete would want to be The Man ( or at least closer to it) but man, money being equal, playing playoff basketball in Denver as a fan favorite sure sounds more appealing than putting in work for a perennial lottery team in Detroit.View: https://twitter.com/TJMcBrideNBA/status/1329992404468961280
So Grant got 3/60 offers from DET and DEN, but decided on DET because of role (ie, Detroit he's a starter and 2nd option, DEN it's less clear here he fits in the heirarchy for PT and role behind Jokic).
Yeah, but then again, he's only going to be 29 at the end of this deal. And if he has a bad 6 weeks in Denver he could get buried on the bench for who knows how long. Certain amount of strategic long-term planning thereI guess I shouldn’t be surprised that a highly driven athlete would want to be The Man ( or at least closer to it) but man, money being equal, playing playoff basketball in Denver as a fan favorite sure sounds more appealing than putting in work for a perennial lottery team in Detroit.
That’s insane
