When the Red Sox are playing, I always have national broadcasters on mute and listen to WEEI.
Checking out the Dodgers/Brewers game, so have the Fox announcers on, and they remind me why I mute them - suggesting walking the winning run onto first. What a bunch of stooges.

Meanwhile, I fucking hate the Marlins guy who shows up in prominent seats at all these playoff games. I don't know why. But I want to beat him about the head and neck with a stick of reasonably robust diameter. Not in a way to cause permanent damage. Just profound discomfort. I don't know why. I fucking hate him.

I don't get the point of what he does; not a fan of either team, also looks like he travels alone.
I could see going to the Super Bowl with a bunch of friends in a warm weather city, or the NCAA football or basketball championship game as a one off adventure, but the all of the NLCS games?

Yeah, this is good stuff. One run games are the shit - especially when I am not emotionally invested in the outcome to the extent that it affects my moods, sleep and overall well being. Also, there is a shitty NFL game on so there are choices...
Baseball is fucking awesome. Baseball with the pitcher hitting is fucking awesome. Baseball with the DH is fucking awesome. Playoff baseball with either is particularly fucking awesome.
