Give me a good reason for him not to do it?I think it's a joke and Floyd would dominate. Destroying McGregor would embarrass
MMA and be boxing's first win in awhile. He must have some fear in his heart, unless he's just trying to max the $.
Boxing is an individual sport/industry. No one in it is looking for a "win" and won't be anytime soon. Everyone just wants to get paid.

I get that, but I hope someone who devoted his life to boxing feels some loyalty to the sport.

HBO got bumped to the DVR tonight. That's up next for me. The Showtime card was good. I'll wait until you watch it

Was flipping a bit between rounds. Was obviously wrong about the Frampton fight. Watch the HBO card. It was great.

I think Thurman unless Haymon steals a decision for loyal soldier Danny. Danny's looked a bit better lately, but Thurman has him beat in almost every category. Danny is going to need to get inside and throw those hooks to the body then upstairs, but I think KT is too quick, too slick and too mean to let that happen, and Danny still has a nice guard, but not the slipperiness to constantly get in or the bullheadedness of Porter to keep rushing.

There will be some wild flurries, and both men have power and tend to swing hard and wide, so anything can happen, but Thurman wins this fight 7.5 times out of 10 I think. You?

I'm also favoring Thurman for the same reasons. Even if all goes to hell, Thurman can just stick and get on his bike, right? The difference in foot speed is massive. Going back to the Peterson fight, before it heated up, he had Garcia super frustrated with his movement.

At his best, imo, Thurman is doing a Pacquiao impression with his flurries so Danny will have to be super sharp in those exchanges and hope to catch him. But even then, can Danny stand up to the shots Porter took? I can't see it

Just put a few hundred on Thurman. Slightly worried about a bs decision but not too much.

Woof had a heart attack there. Knew Danny would get too much love on the cards. Was yelling at KT to get off his bike in the late rounds.

I'm expecting a 6 round GGG run of the mill KO but this is the first time I've thought that it would be size that is Jacobs problem.

I'll have to look up some face off pictures now.

The Conor-Floyd fight seems to be making strides to happening. There is a June date lined up, but there is speculation that they will hold off until September to have time to build the fight and give Floyd plenty of time to train. If I'm Conor, who has been back in the gym since January, I'd push hard for that June date. I'd also try to get any rule advantage I could get. Ask for no shoes, smaller gloves, or 5 minute rounds! He's going to need a miracle to win and I don't think it can happen if he just concedes to all of Floyd's terms.

Floyd is in better shape than Conor; not sure 5 minute rounds advantage CM. Also, he hits harder and is more accurate. The smaller gloves won't benefit him either. Unless there's kicking or grappling, no rule change is to Conor's advantage. He is in every way the inferior fighter.

He was doing that even when he was fighting, though. My understanding is he's a gym rat and not a guy who can avoid getting in there and training regardless. Plus, I'm sure he knew he was coming back the whole time and didn't allow himself to get too far out of shape. I've never seen the man breath heavy even in a 12th Round. I know it's a difference having to kick and wrestle and do 5 minute rounds instead of 3, but CM was incredibly winded those last two rounds of the second Diaz fight. He'd need far better conditioning against Floyd. The only way to beat a guy like that is to constantly swarm him and throw 100+ punches a round.

Some people might blame him gassing on having to clinch/grapple with a larger Diaz, but he was gassed vs a much smaller Chad Mendes. And that was just a 2 round fight. The only decision that he looked strong the entire fight was vs Max Holloway (A 3 round fight).

EDIT: Just looked at the current odds and the bookmakers aren't being suckered by the hype. Conor getting very long odds. Mayweather's payouts are so small, that it isn't worth the risk of shenanigans stealing a large bet from you.

That meathead just got in a Dan Rafael's face and proclaimed he is boxing. Him and douche Floyd are meant for each other. It's just sad they're gonna rape the public for $100

The GGG fight is ppv? Blah. Might put 100 on Jacobs though just because I've won more than I deserve guessing basketball this week.

Yup. Jacobs skipped the ibf morning weigh in, and chance for the belt. He'll probably be 180 lbs+ tonight

This Chcolatito fight is insane.

I don't know if Jacobs last very long tonight. The game plan seems to be to go to war.
