Might have been the most dominating performance I've seen go unrewarded. The Kings give that kind of effort on Friday, it won't matter how many horseshoes Hank has in his ass.

The Kings are so much better than the Rangers. As I thought before the series, Kings sweep at home with a split on the road and this should end in 5.

I havn't watched that much Hockey for the last 30 years until last year's and now this year's playoffs but I noticed one thing.

Girardi has been awful. He gives the puck away more than any other defenseman on any team I've seen.

Then they have the guy out at the end and he almost gave them a goal in the last 30 seconds

Egads

The most unrewarded performances a zillion year's ago by a couple of Bruins teams with Ken Dryden in the Montreal goal is what I was reminded of.

That coupled with a few of my childhood heroes a few years earlier going to the other league somehow had me give up in the NHL.

I'm glad I got my interest back after all these years

I don't watch too much of the Rangers, but I agree that Girardi has had an awful, terrible, no-good, very bad series.

So Stepan covered that puck right? I was watching in a bar without audio but there was an awful lot of hand movement. Correct me if I'm wrong, of course, but it looked might suspicious from the angles I saw while half-watching.

Looking at a better angle (great work NBC!) the puck actually gets pushed underneath Lundqvist's blocker, which is what I missed.  Hand didn't close on it or anything. Good non-call though I could see a very minor gripe with an early whistle but those happen when there's 95 guys around the net.

If be a lot more worried today if the rags hadn't blown 2 goal leads in the first two games. That and the Kings utter domination in every 3rd period, and Quick being on top of his game. LA never seems to do it the easy way, so I'm expecting more agita before it's over, but I just can't see a team that good losing 4 straight games.

It's going to take multiple miracles for the Ranger's to win three more. The Kings are everywhere, they are stronger and faster. They don't stop. And the Kings have two more games at home.

Every now and then in the arena they play a "song" that the lyrics seem to be:
Ah ah. Yeah yeah yeah.
Ah ah. Yeah yeah yeah.
Or something like that.mis that an actual song? Or is it just a filler type thing? Anyone have a clue? It gets stuck in my damn head.
It's a Kanye West track named 'Power'. Mike Missanelli, the leading sports talk radio guy in the Philadelphia market, uses it as the lead-in to his show everyday, but with modified lyrics.

The main job for the GM's and competition committee this summer should be to come to some sort of consensus on what constitutes goalie interference and what the threshold is.

Wow, that call against the Rangers might have topped them all. There was NOTHING.
That was truly baffling. And the guy called it from 100 feet away.
