This is Cal's 9th season at Kentucky. Overwhelming favorite to make a 5th Final Four and 7th Elite 8. Cal made the Elite 8 three of his last four seasons at Memphis. Could be ten Elite 8's in his past 13 seasons.
Between the refs blowing the freakin OBVIOUS travel call and the coach choosing not to extend the game it was those poor Nevada kids who got screwed over bigly. Excellent clock management by Loyola in recognizing that all you have to do there is release the ball inside of 2 seconds and the worst case scenario, barring a foul going for the offensive rebound, is Nevada gets a clean rebound and less than 4 seconds to go. Coach didn't give his players a whole lot of wiggle room in that spot.So the refs really screwed Nevada on the out of bounds and the travel. GJGE.
This is why Cal says it is so hard to coach freshmen.Well this is fun so far
They're lunatics. They threatened an official's life and tried to ruin his business because they lost the elite 8 game last year. One positive thing I will say about Kentucky: they have IMO by far the best fan base. They go everywhere and they are loud.
It's not even close. One positive thing I will say about Kentucky: they have IMO by far the best fan base. They go everywhere and they are loud.
PASSION!!!They're lunatics. They threatened an official's life and tried to ruin his business because they lost the elite 8 game last year.
they're still gonna win by 20This is why Cal says it is so hard to coach freshmen.
2 9+ seeds in the FF looks doable right about now.I can't imagine a 9 vs. 11 game for a spot in the Final Four but here we are.
KState had a fantastic start but Kentucky is vastly superior.
K-State had 5 guards on defense though.Timeout could have been useful on previous possession
