Miller starts moving, but the ball looks to be snapped before he got into the neutral zone (if he actually violated it).
Well Miller lost balance and his hand hit the ground. Maybe harder to see than Toney who's foot was planted in the NZ for a long time.

I think you're right but it clearly made him mad and with the added layer of being frustrated with the loss. He's not the type to yell at his own guys so yelling at the refs is a safe way to vent.

The Chiefs of 2018 to now have been the benefits of more insane officiating than any teams I can remember in sports history, including the Manning Colts, Jeter Yankees, and even the Kobe Lakers. You can see multiple calls a game that are completely indefensible. Waa waaa waaa

Yeah — two very different calls for refs. One is pretty objective. The ref just looks right down the line. On the other it’s like delay of game — you have to watch the player and the snap.

Which is the excuse for why the Chiefs get away with a false start every other snap.

Okay there is hyperbole, but come on now.

Nobody is talking about the refs except you, asshole.

Didn’t get a warning? For fuck’s sake.

What about the Bills? Do you think it would be fair to them?
Receivers on the end of the line check with the officials a lot. If they check the officials sometimes give a thumbs up. If they don't check, they don't get the thumbs up.

For as great as he was, AJ Green was the king of stupid procedural penalties. He got called for offsides three times in his career. As rare as it is, it's not completely unheard of.

this is the absolute most mediocre the NFL has been in my life. I love it. Put these AFC teams back in 2004 and they'd all be struggling to find 5 wins.
What you call mediocrity, I call parity. There’s no one in the league this year as good as the 2004 Pats, but there were 5 or 6 teams back then that were worse than anyone now except maybe Carolina. I mean, the 49ers that year were coached by Dennis Erickson, and the QB situation was split between Tim Rattay and Ken Dorsey.

For some reason I get local Atlanta ads when steaming live sports on Peacock.

Right now there's a commercial for Beaver Toyota in Cumming, Ga.

Whatever that penalty was supposed to be I saw nothing on the DVR or highlight video posted on Twitter.

What an asshole. But when Andy Reid is openly bitching about the same thing at the podium, what do you expect?
You forgot to add the part where he literally admits the play was offside but the refs should have let it slide because “reasons”
Mahomes: "Let us play the game. Then whatever happens happens. That's why last week, I didn't say anything. Let us play. You want it to be about your team and their team -- and see what happens. I want to go play... then see what happens at the end. Then, I can live with the results.

"The flag today was tough. Offensive offsides. You point to the ref, you're good or not good. You have a discussion. That's the ref's job. For him to throw that flag, no explanation or anything. I saw the picture. He's barely offsides. It didn't affect the play at all. At all."

chiefs pretty clearly are unable to handle even the smallest amount of adversity before turning into a puddle

How hard is this for WRs? I never played football. I can imagine guys would usually play it safe and line up 6" behind the line, at least where they had a hash mark for reference. It's a technically correct call that had no effect on the play (although the ref could not have known that at the snap) and likely gets overlooked often. Welcome to the NFL.

"We've got to lock things down, just like the exits at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory!"
So odd because ungulates typically stick together.
Chiefs defense melting like steel beams.
Does one really need a reason to orgasm? I mean it’s still an orgasm.
This was an offside job.
Some real strong work in the gamethread today.

Also, how would a protractor help in this situation? It’s a straight line, bro.
Has to account for his own mass bending spacetime.

I’m rooting for the Eagles, but I hate to see flopping rewarded. Should’ve been a no-call.

The idea of calling penalties is that it is supposed to make the players less likely to commit them. But it’s just so inconsistent.
