Not gonna lie, I'm envious of Zach's scrambling ability as a fan of Pats and having to root for Mac.
Sometimes I watch him and think he's got a decent arm and the ability to make real things happen with his legs. He looks excellent for a super raw rookie. Then I wake up and remember he's in year 3, and minus a quick slant that Garrett Wilson took to the house, he's 6-13 for 48 yards today.

It’s truly tragic (from just a pure football fan perspective) that we didn’t get to see what Aaron Rodgers could do with that group. Jets have some good weapons on offense and the defense is legit.

Jets offense has been on the field for 13 minutes out of 48. The defense is objectively amazing.

But they are also human.
@luckiestman called it when he pointed out that the Jets’ TD was a quick strike that meant the D got no rest.

Of course. I’m also amused by trying to figure out a past tense for the Jets defense being historically great, as per @snowmanny ’s
post. Historically greated?

Eh, the only thing they've been good at today is keeping Dallas from scoring TDs every single time. They aren't getting any help from the offense, but they've forced 2 punts on 8 drives. 70 plays for Dallas, 0 turnovers. Dallas is 9-15 on 3rd down. The best thing I can say about the Jets' D today is that they aren't the reason Dallas will win.

Ok it would be nice if CBS took us to the Denver/Washington game. Cowboys/Jets has ceased to be competitive.

Parsons was a wrestler who does boxing for conditioning? I’m always surprised more of these guys don’t crack the code like that; like LeBron and Kareem with yoga and pilates. But maybe if you’re already pro, who cares? I dunno.

They have been on the field for the entire game. They haven't had any rest except for half time. It gets tough when you know the offense can't do anything.

Parsons seems like a total physical freak. Like yeah, maybe a few more guys could do that but not on the same level as he does.

Oh fersure. But if you want to build wind, stamina, nothing beats three minute sparring rounds. Nothing. And his ability to consistently explode, emphasis on consistently…

But yeah, I agree: Shit’s hard, so maybe there’s some correlation bias there, i.e. he’s someone who can actually pull all that off and not, like, die?

Yeah I don't blame them, but let's not pretend like they've been "amazing" today. They've been good enough for the game to be close if the offense was competent. This isn't the day to send praise their way.

That goofy clown circus music while going over the Jets recent QB history was fucking harsh. I feel kinda awkward even having just watched it.
