Has a team ever devoted more high draft capital into skill positions in as short a timespan as the Falcons while simultaneously having no plan at quarterback?

Just not sure what more you need to look at as an NFL franchise that is competing for a division title. Malpractice. Kyle Pitts has probably seen like 40% catchable targets so far in his career.

Just discovering this myself. How bizarre. How many different services do you need to watch the nationally televised games?
See? It's not just me. Apparently you need ESPN, ESPN+, Prime- anything else?

I tried to tune in, and Comcast said they need to mail me new equipment at no additional cost. So, I'm paying for something but I can't tune in. What a country!

I hate the NFL as much as anyone but since when are fans entitled to see random extra games on the schedule? In the past, these European games have been on the NFL network, have they not?

Edit: the frustration around Amazon exclusively showing the Thursday night games i get. But these games have almost always been on some version of a paid channel.

Isn't NFL Network pretty widely available and included with most cable packages? How is that the same as requiring me to buy a subscription to ESPN+?

NFL Network is part of all cable and streaming packages now.

ESPN+ is a monthly subscription service.

So it's not quite the same.

Hearing thousands of people in Wembley Stadium yell "DUUUUUVAL" is something I never thought I would witness.

And it's actually hilarious that Jonnu is grabbing balls while Kyle Pitts is just a decoy. Bill Simmons once said Pitts' floor was Travis Kelce.

Tough take there.

Great line from Orlovsky, "Me and Drake London are two guys who wish there was more space in the back of the end zone"

Jonnu has the same amount of targets as Pitts ytd, (21 for Pitts, 20 for Jonnu) way more yards (179 to 121) and more receptions.(15 to 11)

That Pitts pick was an all timer so far. He's basically N'keal Harry.

I think he was almost universally hailed as can't miss though, right?

Yes, Pitts is widely regarded as the most athletic TE in the NFL. But that doesn't get you very far if you're just an athletic decoy.

Arthur Smith talks about how it's more important to win games than worry about fantasy points. The thing is, he doesn't win many games, either.

House brought up an interesting point. Why did the line go from 9.5 to 8.5 in the Jets game? Seems directionally wrong.

The problem with the conventional wisdom is that Pitts is regarded as a TE. I realize there’s no TE in the NFL today like Gronk was, but a guy like Travis Kelce can at least block as well as, say, Tony Gonzalez. Pitts can’t.

When you think of Pitts as a WR, his athleticism suddenly seems pedestrian by NFL standards. Ja’Marr Chase he is not.

My guess is the smart money is staying off that one, and there are more Jets fans than Chiefs fans.

I don’t mind Arthur Smith (at least until now). I cannot understand the Ridder thing. Like what was he seeing in practice.

Yeah but we aren’t the Cowboys or Mexican boxing fans. Like, we are not a hopeful group. I’m more likely to bet the Chiefs (I don’t actually gamble) as emotional insurance.

Puka, most receptions in his first 4 games. Has the rest of the game to extend the number. It's at 31 now.

Smith makes a point of not using his best players. And then is salty about it. And loses more than he wins.

I mind it.

Nacua just set NFL record for most catches in first 4 games.

Can the draft experts here tell us what EVERYONE missed with him?

My first game listening to Romo. I guess all of the coaching he's received hasn't worked.

9-point margins of victory are uncommon. So the line can move from 9.5 to 8.5 for dumb reasons, and there’s not much incentive for smart money to push it back up.

I’m not trading Zach for Kirk

@mauf thanks for the info. Makes me wonder why it was set where it was but the move and non response makes sense
