I find myself happier when good things happen to the guys in green rather than the other team. Am I a bad person now?

How can an NFL game have turf this bad? Million dollar athletes and we going to skimp on landscaping?

Yep. I'll consider that while also wondering why the play Miami just scored on is OPI when it's run by guys in Pats unis

When Josh Lambo hits a field goal for the Jaguars, does he celebrate with a leap?

Opponent adjustments to DVOA over at Football Outsiders must be a nightmare this year. Who the hell is good, other than the Eagles?

He was contacted like hell at the point of the catch, bobbled slightly on the way down, certainly secured it before hitting the ground (to my eyes), and then survived the ground as he went into the endzone. Unless contact from an opponent doesn't initiate "down-by-contact" until after you have possession - which isn't my understanding, I thought if they were roughly contemporaneous it counted as bringing him down - then the instant he had possession and was down, his forward progress is stopped.

Unless you're arguing that he didn't have possession until he was already in the endzone (which given that he rolled over on top of the ball, seems pretty hard to argue), I think the refs made the right call there.
I thought the bobble continued after his ass hit the turf. Reasonable minds can disagree, but it sure seemed a stretch to overturn the call on the field.

Watching the amount of pressure that the Bears are getting against Cam Newton is making me very, very sad. The Pats should be having open tryouts for the D-Line every week.
