I know Purdy has two bad interceptions, but this 49ers defense just is leaving a lot to be desired. That drive was too easy.
CIN put on an offensive clinic today. 49ers never looked like they could stop them.

Should have been a TD.
His ability to turn backwards from the direction of play, scramble, then turn around and whip a pass on target is special. Every time it feels like luck, but then you watch him do it every game.

Chiefs haven’t really executed the post-Tyreek Hill plan at WR. Skyy Moore sucks, Justyn Ross might be done, Toney is as unreliable as the day is long, and they dragged the warmed over leftovers of the mediocre Mecole Hardman back. Rice might be something, but they went from unduly reliant on Kelce and Hill in 2020-21….to unduly reliant on Kelce.

Browns, up 3, on 3rd and 3 on their side of the field with two minutes left and an XFL QB on their team, passed the ball instead of trying to run for the first down.

INT. Seattle gets life. TD. Game.

Just bad coaching, idiocy, and poor execution.

Hill may a terrible person, but he is a peerless receiver. His speed gets all the attention, but he has really strong and reliable hands. He can make a lot of tough catches even when he's not running away from his crowd of defenders.

Mahomes ran into his own guy and got sacked and I'm surprised they didn't flag the KC lineman but call it against Denver.

He's one of the best WRs under 6' ever. It's annoying.

They won the Super Bowl last season. What does success look like?

My take is they’ve decided Mahomes is good enough to win without an elite skill talent, and they’ve invested the resources they would’ve used to re-sign or replace Hill to shore up the D, which this year is the best it has been in Reid’s tenure.

They’re losing today because they’re minus-3 in the turnover battle and didn’t execute in their two red zone trips. Happens to everyone sometimes.

I didn’t say they haven’t been successful, that would be ridiculous.

I’m saying their WR room isn’t good.

Their leading WR last year can barely get snaps on the Parts this year. So that supports your point.

If KC had the Pats receiving core replacing Henry with Kelce it’s much better than what KC is rolling with, which is a complement to Mahomes

49ers D has quietly struggled on run D (24th in EPA) so far this year after being just about the best run D in league the last two years. I sat quietly because a ton of focus has been paid to Purdy and injuries to offensive stars during their skid.

Mahomes had the flu in sub-freezing temps, he gets a pass.

(How did Tom have such a good AFCCG when he was sick?)

They're following the Patriots dynasty plan. Ride your HOF quarterback, use your resources on D, and see how that works out.

What you are saying can't be correct. Only BB is bad at drafting WRs everyone else is amazing at it.

Jesus, I was at the miserable excuse for a game at MetLife and had no idea the Giants QBs combined for 6 completions and 7 yards. And still should have won.

Giants used up a lot of good luck last season. Hope they can pull it together to take down the Pats next month.

Declined? I thought they could move it from where returner caught it. Is that only in offensive penalties?

Bagent seems fine. I wouldn’t be shocked if he sticks as a player in the league.

edit: I may have spoke to soon
