They awarded an own goal.Barkley scores, does a Lambeau Leap style crowd visit- not full dive, but standing on the fence and grabbing fans' hands to celebrate- and gets a yellow for his troubles.
Everton have banned the Sun "from all areas of its operation" after the newspaper published "appalling and indefensible" allegations about Ross Barkley and the people of Liverpool.
The article, written by columnist Kelvin MacKenzie, appeared on Friday.
MacKenzie was suspended after comparing the midfielder, whose grandfather was born in Nigeria, to a "gorilla".
He also wrote that men with similar "pay packets" to Barkley in Liverpool were "drug dealers".
Fun fact: SWP now plays for Drogba's new club, Phoenix Rising of the USL.Rondon is damn strong. Liverpool are just lucky that Wright-Phillips wasn't interested in finishing his chance.
He looked like it on that "strike."Fun fact: SWP now plays for Drogba's new club, Phoenix Rising of the USL.
Are the fans going to be up in arms over this like they would in the States over a similar decision (coach or player)?Zlatan needs day off. Apparently.
HUGE result for Spurs. Makes the whole top of the table a whole lot more interesting.
I generally agree, but at least now it's plausible. It's also not like they only have the dregs of the league left. Yes, Boro and Asunderland should be OK, but next Tuesday against Southampton could be interesting. Everton the following week is a legitimate test. West Brom can be a complicated fixture. Even Watford can be tricky. While Spurs still have tougher matches against United and Arse, this at least has the potential to get interesting. It does but I'd still put Chelsea at 80% or so to win the league. They just don't have many tough remaining fixtures while Spurs have United and Arsenal. I can't see Tottenham winning out and I can't see Chelsea dropping more than 4 points. Michael Cox had a good article this morning on how United have given the league the blueprint to beat Chelsea but I don't think the teams they have left to play have the personnel to pull it off (save for maybe Gueye with Everton).
