He caught a break being in the morning wave too. Otherwise he'd have to play half a round today then quick turnaround and play 27 tomorrow morning. That'd be tough for him.

Sorry. On 9, behind a tree on pinestraw, hits a low cut that flies onto the green and stops a foot from the hole.
On 9 he was in the pine straw and hit a crazy cut with a nine iron to a foot.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT A MORNING MONSOON WOULD CREATE CONDITIONS THAT WOULD RESULT IN MUD ON THE BALL?
The cool thing about Reed's shot on 9 was that it was coming into that three-tiered green absolutely sideways.
So, is the reason Tiger has looked like a weekend golfer all year and a world beater today just because he can play Augusta in his sleep?
I've seen juts about every shot from Tiger this round and the only one that I would consider even remotely bad was his 2nd shot on #2. Looked like he tried to play a power draw and it just held its line. Ended up in the far greenside bunker. Got up and down for par. Everything else has seemed pretty much according to plan for him today.
Interesting hearing Casey describe a specific shot he hit today that he couldn't have hit in April
Money. He's probably got a lot of that.

A tradition unlike any other: watching Phil's slice from the tee then watching confused cameramen mid-hole pan back like "where in the hell did that one land?!"

Yeah I don’t think they catch up until Saturday. Once they do split tees with a cut they’ll be fine.
I assume they'll have the sub air running overnight. Will these guys wake up tomorrow and finish their rounds with completely different green conditions?

Does CBS get the rights to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit from ABC in return for an hour or so of Jim Nantz gracing their network?
If Augusta cared they would win that fight, but the broadcast station doesn't really matter.
Goodell is also an Augusta member fwiw. He'll probably be on the course somewhere Sunday.
7:30 restart. ESPN will have coverage. Wonder if we'll get full TV coverage tomorrow now. or if they'll go off the air from the end of the 1st round until the 1:00 broadcast.
That shot by Rose was one of the poorest shots of the day. Just blew it over the green from the pine straw. You don't see that too often.
Faldo with an incredibly quick 180 there. Rory hits it in the bunker:

And they've also cut the cut. No more "within 10 shots of the lead," which, iirc, usually expanded the field beyond top 50.
