He passed that point a long time ago.. he’s somehow made his broadcasting less relevant than his pro career. This is getting really sad. At some point Chris, you're just better off saying nothing.
And the Bills have lost every game Allen has rushed for more than 100 yards.Only one QB on the field rushed for 100 yards. Point, Simms.
It’s better to have loved and lost than to never have your QB run for 100 yards at all…And the Bills have lost every game Allen has rushed for more than 100 yards.
As noted many times, whoever TB12 has doing his social media, they are amazing
There was also a play late in the game where he somehow avoided a sack with the whole pocket collapsing. His agility has really improved from the earlier version of him. He clearly works on it.As noted many times, whoever TB12 has doing his social media, they are amazing
Honestly, he looks as spry (if not
Moreso) as when he juked Urlacher ( the same Urlacher that is 1 year younger than TB12, drafted the same year, and retired 9 fucking years ago).
Dude is 44 and current leads the league in passing yards and TDs. Most sports books have him as the favorite to win MVP. At 44. It’s simply absurd what he’s doing.Wickersham's book makes a strong case that Brady is so determined to play forever and so uninterested in life without football that he keeps relentlessly pursuing greatness in a way others haven't or couldn't.
Add to that mindset the fact that he seems to have an extremely stable home life, a willingness to try whatever Guerrero comes up with to preserve his body, and a constant pursuit of coaches who can help him, and it becomes a little less surprising that he is where he is.
Also, both Wickersham's book and The Dynasty make the fact that he played through the thumb injury during the AFC Championship seem like something of a miracle. He appears to have the pain tolerance of an elephant.
I mean we all saw athletes like Bartolo Colon play into their forties but that guy could both look his age and compete in the sport. This isn't that. Absurd is right. It might be beyond absurd given how great he still is at this point.Dude is 44 and current leads the league in passing yards and TDs. Most sports books have him as the favorite to win MVP. At 44. Exactly. It is most certainly one of the most surprising things in all of sports, in fact.Dude is 44 and current leads the league in passing yards and TDs. Most sports books have him as the favorite to win MVP. At 44. It’s simply absurd what he’s doing.
Maybe he’s there already, but in my mind another win and he is indisputably the greatest athlete in American team sports history. Not Ruth or Mays, not Gretzky or Orr, not Jordan or Russell. Brady. It’s unique.Exactly. It is most certainly one of the most surprising things in all of sports, in fact.
"it becomes a little less surprising that he is where he is" No, it does not. Plenty of players want to preserve their body and keep playing. None of them in the history of sports have done it in quite this way.
He's in the conversation already, no doubt. It's the longevity coupled with the high quality play. Brady isn't out there at 44 surviving and not embarrassing himself, he leads the NFL in yards and TDs. I've seen some breakdowns that this could actually become his 4th HoF career: 2001-2006; 2007-2013; 2014-2019; and now with the Bucs, if he plays another 2-3 years. He's in the conversation already, no doubt. If Tom Brady wins the MVP in the NFL at 44 years of age after having two separate hall of fame careers with the Patriots, it just becomes not of this world.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32882252/tampa-bay-buccaneers-qb-tom-brady-signs-nil-deal-college-athletes-new-apparel-lineThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced on social media that he's partnering with Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara; Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders, son of Tigers head coach Deion Sanders; Georgia wide receiver George Pickens and Coastal Carolina quarterback Grayson McCall, among nine total athletes who signed.
Given how long Brady’s NFL career has gone it’s still absolutely shocking that it didn’t happen again until this year.Tom Brady shut out for the 1st time since December 10, 2006 when.. ...Randy Moss was a Raider. LaDainian Tomlinson the MVP. Phil Kessel and Glen Murray were Bruins. The Sox signed Dice-K. Kevin Garnett was a Timberwolf. Ime Udoka was a Trailblazer. Jayson Tatum was in 3rd grade.
And my fantasy team. I have all three, plus Brady and Gronk.Tonight's game might be catastrophic for the Bucs' SB chances if the injuries to Godwin, Evans and Fournette are significant.
Evans and Fournette look like they have hamstring injuries so they could rest for almost a month, if needed. Godwin is the big one since he’s Brady’s go to guy. If he’s out, they’re in big trouble. He was jogging a bit so perhaps he dodged a bullet but we’ll surely know more soon.Tonight's game might be catastrophic for the Bucs' SB chances if the injuries to Godwin, Evans and Fournette are significant.

With Carolina, Jets, Carolina remaining, I’d be giving all 3 guys as much time as they need. Big concern I’d have is putting too much wear and tear on Gronk before the playoffs. Brady is going to funnel targets to he and AB next few weeks.

You say that but I finished with the most points and best record *by far*. It was a strategy based on health, but considering my top two picks (McCaffrey and AJ Brown) also went down, I'd say it worked out pretty goddamn well. 5 of my top 6 picks are hurt right now (Logan Thomas was my sixth round pick) and yet here we are. This is FF malpractice
Brady's SB hopes rest on AB's shoulders. That's a risky spot to be in.Godwin is done for the year per Schefter. Brutal. ACL tear.
That sucks big time. One thing though: they were incredibly healthy last year, which is one big reason why they won it all. Usually you don't get that lucky with injuries two years in a row in the NFL. We'll see how this star-studded team manages with these injuries.Godwin is done for the year per Schefter. Brutal. ACL tear.

He will come back fine and get paid tens of millions of dollars, as well. ACL tears are definitely a process to rehab from, but they are much more reliable today in terms of coming back to full strength and decently quick, too. Rex Burkhead tore his ACL on November 22nd last year in a REALLY ugly looking injury. He was ready to go at the beginning of the season.Damn - hate all injuries but the timing of this couldn’t be worse given his FA status and the injury being late in the season. Will cost him millions. No idea what TB offered for a long-term deal but this is always the risk of playing under the franchise tag.
And that Zach was born one year prior to TB’s draft.
Other players on the team were not taking the COVID protocols seriously enough.Do we know what set him off?
If we’re guessing real things and not that he was told he couldn’t set up a raw bar on the sidelines staffed with monkeys, my guess is literally the dumbest shit imaginable like he got pulled from a personnel package and couldn’t handle it.Do we know what set him off?
In fairness, his request for a raw bar staffed with monkeys was also turned down. So he was understandably on edge.If we’re guessing real things and not that he was told he couldn’t set up a raw bar on the sidelines staffed with monkeys, my guess is literally the dumbest shit imaginable like he got pulled from a personnel package and couldn’t handle it.
if that’s true, combined with this - we may know our answer.Arians benched him at some point prior to the outburst. I don’t know if it’s been reported on yet why AB got benched mid game, but that’s what preceded the strip show.
