Yes. Crazy things can happen in the NFL. At some point this team will have to play a complete full game.

Sitting the players with 8 minutes left isn't how you prepare for the next round.
It was five minutes, but whatever

Man.

If Purdy wins the SB, Lance is not going to take the job back. That is done. Lance would be done in SF. I am not sure Lance gets the job back even if SF loses next week. Which they won't because they are awesome.

Purdy is awesome, look at what he's doing this game. Composed, fast, evasive, and he has this unique ability to get the ball to his best players, like Deebo and Kittle.
I think the promise of an arm in Kyle's system will give Trey another look. For example, that throw to Jennings in the 1Q is a completed TD and opens up yet another zone of the field for Kyle to play with. On the other hand, I fully admit Purdy appears better at the short stuff Kyle loves. The slight added mobility over Jimmy is just what the offense needed.

I still can’t get over the ineligible man penalty in the third turned the game. Too bad.

Lance does have a stronger arm, not sure how accurate it will be.
Purdy is a like a good blend of Lance and Jimmy - he can move around and has a bit of a live arm (not Lance level).
They were joking on NFL pre-game about bold predictions and how Purdy could never approach Kurt Warner's 1st playoff game - it was 391 yards and 5 TDs. They all laughed. If Aiyuk didn't drop that TD pass it would have been close.

Trey Lance has done basically nothing in the NFL. Plus he's coming back after a destroyed ankle. Look at Dak. Since that injury, he's a moderately decent NFL QB. And Dak used to be great. Lance hasn't done a single thing and then suffered an unfortunate catastrophic injury.

Meanwhile, Purdy is just dominating in every game he is actually playing in. He is 6-0. He has 2 TDs or more in every game. Including one playoff game. At some, potential means nothing when actual performance has occurred. Lance isn't getting this job back unless there is an injury to the Brock.

Do you want him back at all costs? Franchise (I'm assuming he's eligible)? Or ok moving on if he doesn't agree to a reasonable extension?
Fuck no. I don't want him back for any significant money. He can be a mentor for the next rookie QB for a year or two but don't want to pay market rate for him

I kind of forgot that I use to go to Jacksonville a lot until they showed that bridge lit up.

Kirk surprisingly wasn't great with the NFL, but full agree. NBC puts out a bad product too frequently.
I thought NBC had been the best for years. I really miss Al though. Let’s see what chemistry he has with Skeletor.

Weird how I don’t even know myself. I picked LAC and thought I didn’t care but as soon as a just saw the side by side of Doug and Staley, I know I want Doug to win.

INT not helping.

Yeah due to coaching I had picked the Jags in my pool, needless to say rough start.

Is this the first time we’ve had “E” last name premiere running backs facing off in the playoffs?

I don’t know if that second pick was on Lawrence. Looked like the receiver wasn’t where he was supposed to be and felt he was held.

Curious, why? Pederson already won a Super Bowl (against the Pats no less) so I'd be more than happy to see one of the newer coaches make a name for himself.
