Can you guys knock off the Bloom crap for a single game?

Bloom didn't pick Kluber to pair against the Orioles #1. Bloom didn't bring the second worst guy in the pen into the game with the bases loaded.
Says the person who won’t knock off the Cora crap? He’s playing the guys another person put on the roster.

I said I was going to give Cora a pass in 2022 if he guided the team into the post season in 2021, which I did. And which I would have done anyway - bad health derailed the team last year.

Cora still has a neutral balance with me - this is only one game.

Can I ask the same of you for Bloom?

Who is the worst guy? Ort? What about Brasier? Third worst?
Clearly Ort. Brasier. . .who knows. But Kelly's problem has always been control. It makes some sense to get a guy who is going to potentially notch a K with the bases loaded - but the downside is Kelly may be just as likely to walk in a run.

I'm not sure what we should've expected when the opening day starter is a washed up Kluber. That's kind of sad.

I guess you have to pencil in a loss when you see Kyle Gibson on the bump.

“In ceaseless pursuit of strength

Countless obstacles overcome

Heights never before seen

This man shall reach them.

Masataka! Masataka! Masataka! Masataka!

Oy oy oy oy oy oy! Masataka!

Smash that ball!

Masataka! Masataka! Masataka! Masataka!”

I know it’s early and it’s cold and theres a good chance he’ll end up being passable but goddamnit why couldn’t Kluber just look mediocre instead of nauseatingly terrible?
He's a slop ball pitcher in a world of dudes swinging for the fences. If his smoke and mirrors isn't working, he's going to get hammered.

I'm pretty optimistic about the team as a whole, but Kluber looks absolutely toast. I would not be shocked if he as DFA'd by June.

You can go though my posts last year and do a survey if you want, but I can't imagine why you'd find that interesting.

Did I somehow offend you with my Cora criticisms in 2021?

Clearly they made an impression.

If this team can demonstrate that Bloom can put together a winning roster, sure. For now, it’s just one poor start of one game for both the roster and its manager.
