Your right. The students should sit on their hands and do nothing. They shouldn’t be excited about beating their historical rival after sucking for years.
There’s a wide gap between sitting on your hands and storming the field against one of the dregs of P5 football.

Does Syracuse storm the field after beating BC?

I’ve lived in Colorado for the last 25 years and had a kid at CU for the last 6. The fact that you don’t understand what a big deal it is to the community and students is on you, not them.

You’re speaking subjectively, I’m speaking objectively.

Dying on a hill for CU to not storm the field against an ollllllllld Big 8 rival, eso since CU has been utter shit for more than a decade, is bizarre, Ale.

It’s not like a Colorado has never won anything. A split national championship. That’s more than a lot of teams.

What happens when they beat a real team and not corn.

If their opponent was even halfway decent, I’m not even asking top 10, I would feel differently.

Shedeur Sanders is legit. Second humongous game in a row. And he did it this week when it didn’t come easy. Kid showed real moxie.

I’ll take it back if Kansas or Missouri storms the field after beating corn.

This thread is making me curious about what team has the single season record for field stormings

Much much worse. Small baptist school in North Charleston has like 3k kids. CoC has 10-12k

In other small school news, BC struggling mightily with Holy Cross. 3 pt game w 2 min left.

Edit - doh. HC just got the ball back at their own 25, then weather delay announced.
Shouldn’t they be called Charleston Northern then? Another thing that doesn’t make sense today.

But it was against Nebraska, so it shouldn't count. Actually, it's even a strike against him that he had to play in this game against corn. If he was a good QB, his coach would have benched him to keep him fresh for the real games.

SOSH college football conversations

  • All the best teams playing each other in the regular season is bad for the sport. It's all about regional rivalries.
and

  • Why would students care about beating their regional rival? CU/Nebraska is just like the Dolphins/Jets or BC/Syracuse

Ground Zero
UVA had a 4th and 20 and a WR wiiiiiide open but the QB overthrew him. JMU wins in comeback fashion, 36-35.
UVA had a big pregame ceremony honoring the murdered players. Put their numbers on the stadium, unveiled monuments, etc. Very emotional. Players balling their eyes out. Seems almost cruel to expect everyone to turn off those emotions after effectively another memorial service and go play football.

The program is dogshit these days, but still.

Watching the TAMU-UM game, and maybe it's just a sign of how far off the competitive chart Miami has fallen in recent years, but it looks like the stadium is 3/4 full.

That was impressive! Come on ESPN, show a replay instead of a music video of Nick Saban.

I'd be very happy watching Malachi Moore in a Pats jersey for a bunch of years.

Ewers has such bad footwork. I guess Jimmy G made a decent living with similar issues, but geesh.
