Kornet is a max effort guy. He always looks like a 6’0” starting pitcher in the bottom of the 7th inning in July.
A lot of good basketball has now gone to waste. Time to focus, boys—-keep the movement on offense
Honestly no idea how you don’t call timeout at the quick 7-0. To allow it to get to a -15 and counting is wild. Might as well not bring Jaylen back in.
Because he’s not good. He’s an assistant coach way the fuck out of his depth.
Yeah this isn't a timeout thing. Mazzulla could call all of his timeouts and it won't matter if the C's are letting Toronto walk into shots and get clean looks everywhere.
It’s not exclusively a timeout thing is more like it. Coaches can and often do coach!
Its funny how many coaching experts are experts we have here across sports. NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL...how do all these people become proficient in how to coach all these professional sports?
White and Pritchard a combined 6 of 25 from the floor. Hard to win with that happening and 3 guys sitting out. Let’s see if they pull it out
Serious question do you not believe in momentum in basketball at all? Is Mazzulla the one genius who has figured it out?
I really like Luke, but he is getting absolutely worked on the boards right now.
I watch a lot of NBA basketball like many of you. I don't see the timeout issues that many here see and there is no data to support that Mazzulla's style is hurting the team.
Its literally the same people complaining about it and the funny thing is they end up winning most of the games.
For 2.5 quarters he was doing it when they needed it - but this quarter he hasn’t been able to get them to drop. And yeah, they need an other creator beyond Jaylen and neither Jrue or White has been able to do it, really
I was very down on Joe last year, and I think he’s a lot better this year—-overall, and in terms of using TOs. He’s a bit more conservative than I might be, but I don’t think he’s outside the normal NBA coach range At all at this point
I’m all for complaining about losses and do more than my fair share, but not tonight if they can’t pull it out. 4th Q bricks on the second night of the back to back isn’t that surprising. Missing a bunch of guys. We’ll see what happens but no shame if they drop this one.
